I'm Abby, married to Eric, and we're happy to host and travel using Airbnb.
A little about us:
I (Abby) teach English to international students at New York University (NYU). I love languages and years ago spent some time abroad studying Spanish in Sevilla, Spain.
I love to cook and entertain, and I enjoy running here in Central Park. I also love to read when I have time. In NY, I seek out good sample sales in the city. Feel free to ask me about them.
Eric, my husband, is a Texan who is a musician/philosopher/technical writer. He works at a software company but would probably rather be playing guitar or reading math books. He likes open spaces and mountain landscapes.
When we spend time together in the city, we love to explore new neighborhoods on foot with our dog, Ike, or take bike rides along the Hudson River. We also like to listen to live music, especially jazz.
When we travel, we try to pack light and hit the town. We like to take in a few things slowly, rather than trying to jam-pack a day.
