Our home is just steps away from one of the most famous stretches of white sand beach in the world. It is situated on the 41st floor of the tallest tower in Waikiki. This physically places it in the upper one percentile of all commercial or residential real estate on the island, and provides a breathtaking panoramic: Ocean, Mountain, City and Diamond Head Crater View. The 420 sq. ft. studio micro-loft has mid-century "local" influences with a modern industrial design, comprised of raw materials: exposed concrete ceiling, polished copper piping, stainless steel and ceramic masonry work. Traditional light and dark woods are also incorporated into the motif, integrating natural colors with local flora to retain the true essence of "ALOHA". A large portion, 104 sq ft. of the living space, is dedicated solely to the lanai (balcony). This is massive by Waikiki standards where open space, particularly at this height, is at a premium and is more commonly nonexistent. We developed a unique and cozy open air concept. This is where many of our guests prefer sleeping. On the hand crafted over-sized twin, teak Balinese day bed(with trundle bed underneath), rather than sleeping inside. Just to reiterate, there are two single twin sized beds located outside on the open air balcony living area. What this does is create a one of a kind experience; unexposed to the elements, granting instant access the crown jewel of our home, it's view. This simply cannot be conveyed into words, nor fully captured through the lens of a camera. Much as the spirit of "ALOHA", this view is something that must be felt and experienced in person in order to be given proper justice....
The ground floor has two lobby areas. The outside lobby has a large guest seating area as well as a cafe with a breakfast and lunchtime menu. There are also vending machines in that lobby area. The foyer just outside the elevators also has seating and is where the security station is located. The 6th floor is the common grounds area, and it has two commercial ice machine and a well stocked convenience store. There are several stainless steel gas operated BBQ grills that are available on a first come first serve basis. There is also a meticulously maintained salt water pool with jacuzzi, a fitness center with gym quality equipment and a hot sauna.

In Waikiki, a comparable same floor luxury hotel room with less amenities can easily cost 2x or even 3 times as much, especially when factoring their additional taxes and hidden resort fees. The House Rules incorporate a Liability Waiver- acceptance of the House Rules, and the Liability Waiver incorporated therein, is a condition for booking a stay at this property. Liability waiver must be signed upon check in. We will be happy to send you a copy of the Liability Waiver on request.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, check out is at 11AM and check in at 3PM. I am very reasonable, please just communicate with me and we will see what can be done.
ALL additional visitors MUST register with security or are otherwise restricted to lobby waiting area- no parties. There is 24 hour recorded and monitored surveillance in all common areas, elevators and hallways. Check in with me in advance and we may arrange for guests.
Please remove shoes and slippers at entrance way. This is not only out of cleanliness but also respect for Hawaiian custom.
Please utilize showers on 6th floor to remove sand, shower and dry. Excessive sand is NOT covered by cleaning fee.
Please remember we are on a tropical island. Excessive mess is strictly prohibited. Guest are required to please do their own dishes immediately and not leave food out. In 12 years we have not experienced a single incident with a single pest in our unit. The building management is thorough and consistent with their pest control regiment.
Please treat our home and neighbors respectfully. This is a home not a hotel.
Security enforces fines that will be taken from the deposit if these rules are not met.
NO standing on furniture on the balcony. NO hanging anything or any body part off the balcony rail. NO hanging off any of the fixtures in the condo. These pipes are active in the fire suppression system and may result in injury. Tampering with any part of the fire safety system is strictly forbidden and enforceable by law.
The home is marked as kids friendly, which means kids are welcome - it does not mean, however, that the home is child-proof. Please be careful, and ensure that your children are safe. In particular: children are not allowed on the balcony without close supervision by a responsible adult. The balcony is on the 41st floor and is not suitable for children without close supervision by an adult - although safely secured to city standards of building code, it consists primarily of glass. Please be careful and NEVER let your children onto the balcony without close supervision by an adult.
There is a $75 US/dollar charge for lost key FOB.
Due to severe allergies, no pets are allowed. Sorry.
Guests will be greeted personally and registered with security. They will then be provided with an electronic key FOB necessary to gain access to building and elevators. I am available 24/7, updates and suggestions are always welcome as it is my goal to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
