Come relax by the mountain in our comfortable 3 bd, 2 ba home equipped with 4 beds. Have a BBQ while gazing at the mountain from the backyard, walk or bike to some of the best trail systems in flagstaff, take a short drive to the ski area or downtown Flagstaff and enjoy the evening with an outdoor fire and the stars!
Our home is on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown Flagstaff and four blocks west of SR 180. It is within a short walk or bicycle ride to the national award winning Museum of Northern Arizona and takes only twenty minutes to drive to the top of the moutain and enjoy the scenic chairlift at the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Area that is open year round on weekends and daily during the ski/snowboard season.
Our space is a cozy 3 bedroom ranch home that can accommodate six people with a nice sized joint living and dining area just off the kitchen. The kitchen has a brand new refrigerator and stove and various appliances including a dish washer, microwave, waffle iron, coffee maker, crock pot and more. The washing machine and dryer are in the main hall. The dining room has an oak table.
There are 2 full baths. The master has a shower and the guest bath has a tub with shower.
The master bedroom has a Sleep Number queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a trundle bed that will be set up as a king bed unless you prefer two twins and arrange for this setup in advance. The third bedroom has a brand new futon that opens to a full-sized bed. There is also a queen size hide-a-bed sofa in the living room. A port-a-crib and high chair are available on request. We also have a blow-up queen size mattress kids would enjoy using to sleep under the stars in the back yard if requested. (Note: Flagstaff is the first international “dark sky city”, which means it has mandated low night illumination enabling astronomers to see the stars and planets more clearly. On some nights the stars and moon appear close enough to reach up a touch.)
There is good sized grass back yard and a cement patio set up with a gas grill and an outdoor table with a large umbrella to protect from the morning and lunchtime sun. There is also a glider loveseat with two lawn chairs seated around a portable fire pit. Firewood and kindling is also available. Our living room has a fireplace that is also for your use should you have a cool evening.
You are able to access all parts of the house except garage and shed in the backyard.

Born and raised in Northern Vermont, Charlene has been an elementary/middle school music teacher for the past forty years. She traveled throughout Europe and behind the former Iron Curtain with the School Band of America when a junior in high school and has raised her three boys with music and two now perform professionally in Hawaii and Oregon. We performed as the "Von McIntire Family Singers" through their childhood.
