Charming AC room in a quietish working class neighborhood minutes away from the old town. Recommended for adventurous types looking for privacy and some quality touches at hostel prices.
This is a cozy old house with a countryside feel with five rooms on a breeze hill overlooking the nearby old town, geared for your comfort and rest in a private environment. The house is air conditioned and there is WIFI, with proper mattresses, imported sheets and blackout curtains in all the windows. This is not a family home, either myself or my assistant will be there, plus any other guests in the rooms. If necessary we could come and get you from the airport and show you the way around the area, this is a safe working class neighbourhood with shops and restaurants a stone throw away. Transport to the old city can cost as little as 2000 pesos (0'65 us cents) and you can be there in three minutes. The San Felipe castle, the new Parque Espiritu del Manglar, the US Consulate and the beaches of Marbella are all nearby. the street is a cul de sac so no through traffic around. The area is generally quiet but for some weekends when the neighbours play loud music (this is Colombia after all) Long term visitors welcome!
Your room and a shared bathroom, one for men and one for women. A small living room with sofas. Great hammocks in the front terrace and the back yard, where wild iguanas live on the tree. There are limited kitchen facilities, we have a single stove, a fridge, a blender, a microwave, a sandwich maker and space to make salads so it is ok for breakfast and simple meals.

No smoking inside the house, no unregistered guests, if you listen to music please use your headphones. We all love to party but not in the house, the house is for resting and sleeping.
