Come spend some time in a community-minded, sustainable-living collective house with us.* We're located in one of Rochester's most scenic and vibrant neighborhoods, close by to nightlife, good food, and very close to the best market in the United States, the Rochester Public Market.
We offer hostel-style accommodations to laid-back, travel-savvy sorts on a tight budget. If that sounds like you, all signs point to you loving it here! If, on the other hand, you're looking for an upscale B&B, that's cool, but that isn't us. With that said, we don't mind saying that staying with us is pretty gosh darn great. But don't just take our word for it! =) This guest review sums things up nicely:
"What a wonderful time I had staying at RocHostel. If you want to stay at the Four Seasons and spend $200 a night, then have at it. If instead you need comfortable accommodations with super nice hosts, then stay here." -Josh, Spring '14
You'll have free reign of the house while you're here (aside from the other bedrooms). You're welcome to make use of the kitchen, but please refrain from cooking meat here.

We'll gladly show people around. In fact, we prefer to spend as much time with our guests as we can, schedule permitting! We'll make you breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner depending on when we/you are around. Or, if you'd like to make us dinner, we can show you to Wegmans, the Taj Mahal of grocery stores or (perhaps even better) to the local food co-op. Our meals are organic and vegan-friendly, and we generally get together Mon-Wed for dinner, plus brunch on Sundays. =)
