Christina was an overall great host! After checking into an airbnb close by and having a terrible experience-that we quickly checked out of, Christina was extremely accommodating and communication was great! Even though she just had guests leave, she told us she could clean up her place and have it ready in a few hours for us. We greatly appreciated it!
Check in was flawless, she was home upon check in and all her directions and helpful hints were on point. Upon entrance her two dogs were blocked off by gates and that kept them confined to the living room space. They appeared to be friendly but definitely very active and talkative. Having your own space upstairs was great. We set out Friday to explore ATL and all was well. Friday night when we returned around 11pm- until Christina came home- around 2am- the larger dog barked nonstop. We notified Christina and though she was apologetic, we were advised to give them treats and she'd be home soon. So, unfortunately Friday nights stay was less than pleasant. We were unable to sleep for hours. However, as soon as Christina came home she took them into the bedroom with her and the house was quiet. Saturday was great, the time we were in the home our small Yorkie as well as hers barked, played. and all was well. Saturday evening Christina was home and the dogs were much calmer with Christina so they weren't an issue.
The only other things that stood out were that since the gates are up for the dogs-since they aren't in cages- you have no access to the living room space or the back deck. Also, from the evening through the morning it seems like the AC stops working or gets turned down because it was hot both nights.
