Hi! Let me introduce myself! My name is Isabella Colombini and I live in the countryside of Chianti in a tiny village called St Andrea in Percussina (San Casciano Val di Pesa) where Niccolò Macchiavelli once took refuge five hundered years ago. I was born in Canada, lived my childhood in the United States and at age thirteen came to Florence with my parents. I studied Biology and got a PhD in Ecology of sandy beaches invertebrates. I've spent many years of my life working for international EU projects and I've travelled world wide. I am particularly fond of Africa and wildlife in general. I love skiing and mountain climbing. My husband is Italian and we have three wonderful triplets which enjoy travelling with us. We are a very open family and love to meet new people and different cultures. I have a small flat overlooking the Duomo of Florence and I know how this city is great in terms of art, culture, shopping, relax and, of course, exquisite Tuscan food and wine. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon and of course you are very welcome to my flat!
