The Kingfisher Trailerhouse Hotel is at the edge of Lopez Village, part 1960s trailer and part stick built. About 4 mi from ferry, near Grace Church, Groceries, Post Office, Community Center, and restaurants. A fuunky, fun, rustic place, with lots of rough edges. Covered secure parking for BICYCLES! Privacy and Plenty of room to throw a ball for the dog. Set up for living, cooking, and sleeping, NOT fancy. Covered porch, internet, DVDPlayer. No cable, T mobile cell best.
Kingfisher Trailerhouse Hotel is a funky hybrid house, part 50 foot trailer with a 2 bedroom addition. A wood stove is the main heat in winter, with supplemental electric heaters. The trailer is a '70s Nashua, like Rockford Files. Nothing is code, but it is a comfortable place to be, and a great location on Lopez Island, with lots of unconventional space. Big yard for pets. The name comes from our old wooden William Garden designed diesel cruiser. San Juan County's definition of a "hotel" is 3 individually rented rooms.
Guests may use the whole "house". There are outside tables. Workshop, washer and dryer may be available by request.

The Ship Supply Cottage has been my home. Recently I moved to Bellingham to play violin in the Whatcom Symphony, returning regularly to Lopez Island. Lucy, my French Bulldog, comes with me. The Cottage is eligible for the state historic register.
The eclectic Kingfisher Hotel, mixed media, part trailerhouse/part stick built addition, is on a new 3 lot mixed use subdivision, on the edge of Lopez Village. The RoseStreet House is my new project, just barely ready for airbnb, and a great location near WWU. I love this work!
