Bright and sunny self contained apartment in a central Nelson location. Stunning views out to the sea and situated on a quiet road on the hill side. Small deck and lawn area to watch the sunrise and sunsets from.
The bedroom is cosy and carpeted. It looks out down the small valley and has views to the sea. We are fairly new to Airbnb and welcome feedback about anything that could be changed or improved. At the moment the next thigns on the list are the desk and bedside tables but we are pretty happy with everything else. The kitchen should be equipped with all the basics including grill, microwave, two hobs, tea/coffee, salt/pepper and olive oil, cutlery, crockery etc. If there is anything extra that's required then we may well be able to loan/sort something from our kitchen supplies - just ask!
Access is to the flat, the deck out front of the flat and a small lawn space on a slope. With prior permission for longer stays it may be possible to use the washing machine/drying line also.
Sometimes it may be possible for us to collect or drop guests off at the airport for a cost of $10 one way, please just enquire at the time of your booking. Taxis and airport shuttles are an easy alternative. There is also a bus service from the airport into town.

There is usually someone around most of the time. We work locally and have Terina's brother living with us presently so there is usually someone on hand to help with any issues.

We endeavour to ensure the flat is warm, cosy and clean with fresh linen and all the necessaries. The property is generally quiet. We live above the flat so you may occasionally hear us moving about but we hope this is only very minimal.
We only really ask that you treat the apartment as you would your own home - we will endeavor to have it great condition for your arrival and so would kindly ask that it is left in a tidy condition at the end of your stay. We will take care of cleaning it after you leave but would ask that you clean any dishes etc.
Myself and my wife are from the UK and Ireland respectively. We moved over to Nelson in 2013 and have loved every minute of it. I work as a GP in a local practice and my wife, Terina, is a primary school teacher. Our main interests are anything that gets us outdoors, be it going to the beach for a stroll, a tramp up in the hills, mountain biking, swimming or skiing, and also a love of food. Thankfully Nelson has the lot! We love living here and are keen to showcase it to anyone travelling through.
