This is our family home in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to IH-10 and Loop 1604. We are 2 miles from UTSA, the Med Center, La Cantera, The Rim, Six Flags, Top Golf and iFly Skydiving! We are about 15-20 minutes from Sea World, Downtown (The Alamo) and Boerne. This bedroom is upstairs and shares one full bath, living area. There is also wifi, coffee bar, and a mw/frig at your disposal. We keep the house cool and extra blankets are available! :-)
This room has two comfortable twin beds, desk and recliner and shares a full bath. Enjoy the upstairs living room where you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee and a snack from the coffee bar while catching up on the news from the big screen tv. We are very family friendly, have two well-behaved dogs and love hosting folks.
There are lots of nearby eateries and shops, so while you're not busy at one of San Antonio's historic sites or river walk, you can hang out near the house and meet the local folk.
We highly recommend the Pearl Brewery, the Botanical Sunken Gardens, San Antonio Zoo as well as the popular Six Flags and Sea World. Our favorite place to eat on the river walk is Casa Rio. Be sure to take advantage of the River Barge tour while there, it is only steps away from Casa Rio. The Pearl (a refurbished Brewery shopping/living hot spot) has an amazing Farmer's Market on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Our dogs, Simon and Bingley, love guests and are friendly. If you prefer to keep your distance from the dogs, no prob -- just let us know.
We area two-story home on the left side of the street and the 3rd house from the end of the street. There's parking available in front of the house (please be sure to park going the right direction on the street). Try to park as close to drive-way as possible so two cars can park there if necessary. You can also park on the "court" at the end of the street (2 houses away) if you like. You are welcome to sit on the back porch and enjoy the hill country view or use the kitchen if staying a while. You will receive an email with a door code for the front door and a key to the room and you are welcome to come and go as you please. Our main concern is that you make yourself at home!
Общение с гостями
There is usually someone at home and we love to chat if you are up to it. However, we have no problem with allowing you all the privacy you would like as well. We will take our cues from you -- so if you want to visit, just say so! Please don't hesitate to ask for directions, suggestions or amenities that you may have forgotten. If we can help, we will!
Другие важные подробности
Clean and comfortable and we live by the San Antonio mantra "mi casa es su casa". So make yourselves at home -- don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything and enjoy!
As we have two guest rooms, we try to keep the noise down after 10 p.m. out of respect for all our guests.
Expect common courtesy and for you to clean up after yourself.
We are a non-smoking, drug-free home and expect our guests to be as well. This means no smoking inside or outside. We will interact as much as you want or leave you alone. We are easy-going and love having guests. Don't worry about making your bed on the last day, the sheets are getting changed! :-)

Mi casa es su casa is how we live. (My house is your house.) My husband and I love meeting new people and hosting them in our home. We have always been the "go-to" home for friends to gather, stay, evacuate hurricanes! Our home is 'homey' with comfortable beds and clean towels! We want you to be comfortable and feel safe.
We are a "working" family with one college-age daughter still at home. There is usually someone at the house but we come and go and we provide you keys so you can do the same. We take our cues from you about visiting. If you would prefer to just come and go then we are fine with that. If you'd like to visit just invite us into the conversation!
We provide a coffee bar and small frig and microwave upstairs in the living area, but are happy for you to cook and visit downstairs as well. We have quite the movie collection -- mostly PG and PG-13 -- Princes Bride, A Knight's Tale, Jane Austen movies --- and a few of our favorite action-dramas -- Bourne Series, MI, and Lord of the Rings.
We love sharing about San Antonio -- it's about an $8 Lyft/Uber ride to downtown from our house and we only 5 minutes from Six Flags, La Cantera, Medical Center, The Rim, iFly, TopGolf, movie theaters, and a little further to Sea Word and the Alamo! Don't miss the Farmer's Market on Saturday and Sunday mornings at "The Pearl" -- the restored and awesome old Pearl Brewery. Try to take in a Spurs game if its NBA season and definitely the SA Rodeo if you're here in February! and Fiesta if it's April!
Boerne, TX is about a 20-25 minute drive and a lovely place for boutique and antique shopping and just on the edge of the Hill Country -- drive another 20-30 minutes to be in Comfort and then Fredericksburg and Kerrville.
