South West London has always been my home and I love all the City and it’s surrounding areas has to offer. My flat is small but homely. I’m house proud but easy going as it’s a place to relax.
My work takes me to offices all around so I like to escape some of the bustle by living close to the river Thames. And lots of nice parks where you can sit with a book or have a picnic with friends.
In terms of public transport Richmond is in Zone 4 and Central London is Zone 1 (there are 6 zones in total) - so I live near the City but it's a step away in South West London.
I’m interested in all things creative. I like to make stuff when I can but mostly I enjoy seeing what fellow artists create - including fashion, designs, sculpture, photography, fine art, music, dance and stories. Note if you also like the theatre then you must visit Richmond Theatre.
I like cooking when time allows and all things sweet. Cake is a pretty big weakness. Plus a Sunday roast with a glass of red wine - which means my running shoes need to be on hand!
I’m slowly getting back to sport as I like to keep active. There’s Pools in the Park for swimmers, tennis courts just around the corner and Richmond Park for cyclists and wanderers.
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I’m not as well travelled as most as I’ve focused too much on work - but I’d like to change that and challenge myself in new ways.
I have my shy and quiet moments but mostly I’m friendly and sociable.
