This 1908 tugboat is berthed in one of the finest marinas on the west coast. Less than 3 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. From the deck, the berth has a view of the bay, Mt. Tamalpais, the hills of Marin County, Sometimes the fog rolling in over the hills, Tiburon. It is 200 feet from a very hip French bistro, walking distance to shops, great dining, the houseboats, and live music. There are single and double kayak rentals available at the marina's beach. Sausalito is a popular destination as it is known for being sunny when SF is foggy and drizzly, yet is close enough to make sightseeing in SF quite easy.
The bedroom is in the entire bow of the boat, it has a custom mattress with a featherbed, down comforter, and super soft high thread count linens. Fresh towels, soap, shampoo are provided and hot showers are available in the newly refurbished bathrooms 200 feet away. The heater keeps the boat quite warm and cozy on a cool night. The galley is down below with a sofa, bathroom, water, double burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, iPod dock/speakers, and wifi. The sofa turns into a bed that will accommodate one adult or two children comfortably.
The interior is custom teak and birdseye maple with bronze portholes and brass fixtures. It was lovingly refinished 5 years ago and is as charming and romantic as you could imagine a 1908 tugboat to be. Unlike many other boats, it has plenty of headroom.
The spectacular French bistro is literally a stone's throw away that offers coffee and fresh croissants in the morning, brunch from 11-3, and candlelight dinner by the waterside. Just let me know and I will make a reservation for you.
Arriving here by bike, by car, or by ferry are all quite easy.
