My wife Ellena and I are retired educators who enjoy living in Rhinebeck. Ellena is French and Scottish, and is bilingual. She grew up outside of Paris in a town made famous by many impressionist painters. I was born and raised in New York City and we met on a ferry on the English Channel in 1973. It was love at first sight, just like in the fairy tales, and we have been happily married for over four decades.
