Less than 1.5 miles from the main attractions of downtown Nashville, this is a great place to act as home base for your weekend getaway or can provide a less isolated housing option for a business trip.
This is a two-story townhouse that has over 900 ft2 with two bedrooms, 1.5 bath, a large open kitchen, and a living room with a couple of couches.
The bathroom is stocked with towels, washcloths and multi-purpose soaps that you are welcome to use. There are also a few amenities stocked in case you forget toiletries.
The open kitchen has a large range of spices, pots, pans, and cooking utensils along with enough plates, bowls, and flatware to serve a group.
My mailing address is actually confusingly on a different street than the driveway, so use this address to get to the right place: 1248 John St, Nashville, TN 37210.
When you pull in you'll see 12 Garden in big font on the building. That means you're in the right place! My building is one past that first one, so just keep driving past it a little and park in the spot marked 14B in front of that second building. I share a parking lot with an adjacent building who has numbered spaces which are off limits, but street parking is also available on the intersecting John & Thomas streets if you need more than one parking spot.
My door is the second (Unit B) in that second building. A keybox is hanging on the door, and you will be provided with the code after booking.
The two bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. The downstairs has the living space (with futon), a half bath, and full kitchen.
WiFi network is WoofDen, pw is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).

In the summer we use goats to maintain the property, so they may be on site as well as their Pyrenees guard dogs. If this is the case, they'll be contained in electric net fencing so beware of touching a live wire!
Two of the families in the building have children ranging from infants to teenagers, so there is almost always someone on site you can find if you run into any problems. This also means there are often inquisitive children around who may try to monopolize your attention with their cuteness and/or antics if given the opportunity or encouragement. You have been warned :-)
The property's HOA stipulates the following:
No smoking within 30 ft of building.
Loud outdoor activities not allowed after 9:30pm. This is by no means a curfew, just a courtesy to the families with children nearby.
Park only in designated spot (marked "14B"). Other vehicles may be parked on the street.
My husband and I live just shy of downtown Nashville with our 5 children. My husband directs an urban farm on a university campus; I'm learning to care for the bees. We enjoy traveling and authentic relationships.
