An artist's home and studio, this duplex apartment is full of sunlight and air, with glorious views all around it. Located in a rural part of Taos, it is safe, quiet, close to shops, trails, the Rio Grande and UNM. The plaza is a 15 min drive away
This sunny, airy and spacious artist's home is located in a peaceful rural old neighborhood. If you feel a bit adventurous and want to explore some of Taos real flavor, you will love this place! The whole unit is 1500sq.ft., and you will have access to the most of it , the only off limit part of the house is my small bedroom which will be locked. It has a fenced back yard and a carport spot for your car plus plenty more uncovered parking in the front. I offer a loft bedroom with a queen bed plus a couple of couches in the living area for the guests to sleep on. There's a full bath with a tub/shower. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle all your cooking, with quality cooking utensils and appliances including toaster oven, blender, an array of coffee makers and microwave oven, gas stove and a dishwasher. You are more then welcome to all the spices, teas and condiments as well as fresh herbs growing in the kitchen. We have chickens! That means that there is a good chance that you will have fresh eggs for your breakfast.
The living area is huge, with very high ceilings and sunny windows. A big screen TV has a good sound system, but no cable. There is a DVD player and wires for a TV-to-laptop connection, as well as Chromcast set up.
As I mentioned, I will not be in the house during your stay, and my bedroom will be locked. Only the loft bedroom will be available. The rest of the house, including the back yard and the front carport are fully accessible for the guests.

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, now I make my home in the rural mountains of Taos, NM. I am a mother, an artist, a traveler... A theater costume designer by trade, I mostly work with textiles, but I also love to draw and paint, and that includes bodypainting and all creative visuals.
