Super stone house in centre of the village, no garden but a little terrace next to the village green and monument, a mile from Lac du Rabodanges where there is horse riding, water skiing and restaurants. Beds just upgraded, now have three doubles, two singles and two fold down beds ( suitable for children )
Rabodanges is a truly spacious house, it has been set up so that up to 8 or more people can stay, the fourth bedroom is also a large shower room when just 6 are staying, only suitable as a bedroom if family or good friends, bed in here is a single which pulls out to a double) Three beds will fit into the turquoise room at a push (3rd a fold down suitable for children ), the red room has a single bed which pulls out to a double, or could add a fold down bed if two singles required. The other shower is en-suite to the master bedroom (also has a toilet and handbasin). There are two other separate toilets, one next to the 4th bedroom/shower room and one downstairs. The laundry room has a washing machine, and various airers etc. and large hand basin with mirror next to ground floor WC so could be used for brushing teeth etc if not needing to shower. Fridge/freezer is located under the stairs, big fridge smallish freezer. Some of the sitting room furniture is antique, but comfortable, however would be appreciated if children and dogs could respect that by not jumping on it! That said, children & dogs are very welcome if well behaved, but dogs not allowed upstairs (my granddaughter is allergic to strange dogs and so are a lot of other children). The only thing the kitchen doesn't have at the moment is a grill, but there is an electric grill plate (george formby type of thing). Big kitchen and the table seats eight comfortably. There is a tv but this is for dvd playing only, large selection of DVDs available, also music system with large selection of mini discs and CDs.
The whole house is at your disposal (apart from the attic) the bar is stocked - if you use please replace with like, the same applies to tea/coffee tinned/dried goods/longlife milk etc., please use what you need and replace with like or similar. Should have some herbs growing on the windowsills by June, please help yourself.
Tables, chairs & parasols on terrace - only place smoking is permitted, ashtrays will be provided. VERY low door to terrace - MIND YOUR HEAD, especially on the way back in! Terrace gets morning to after midday sun, so a lovely place to site and have breakfast, morning coffee or lunch.

Другие важные подробности
Children & dogs are welcome but the house is not child proof, there are uneven steps both downstairs & upstairs where small children should be supervised. If dogs are let out on the terrace please do not leave them out there for the day (neighbours might get upset if noisy) and it would be appreciated if you could clean up after them.
Please treat the house as you would your own, it is in the centre of the village and the neighbours are friendly, they probably wouldn't appreciate loud music etc. in the middle of the night!
No smoking in the house please, just on the terrace.
Please read the safety notice in the kitchen.
Please notify Jenny/Johanna or Carrie of any mishaps, accidents do happen but do need to know if something needs to be fixed/replaced for the next Guests.
Please read the house manual, particularly with regard to safety/young children/pets. The house is child friendly but not child proof and the safety/ supervision of young children remains the guests responsibility, there are not currently child locks or socket protectors etc., there are a few socket protectors available in the Blue box of useful stuff in the kitchen however.

Jenny Healey is a freelance book keeper and PA based in Somerset in the UK. Due to work commitments may have to deputise welcoming guests to the lovely Johanna or equally lovely Carrie. I'm always available at the end of a phone however, and will be there whenever possible. As a complete Francophile Rabodanges is really a second home and I hope my guests will love it as much as I do. I love kids movies and there's a wide selection for all the family, deliberately have not put in tv or wifi as there is so much to enjoy locally and in the house! There is a selection of music and a hifi system which takes CDs minidiscs and tapes. I love entertaining and cooking so the kitchen has just about every useful gadget!
