A lovely, private room with a superior comfy queen bed, 100% cotton linen, duck down duvets and a walk-in wardrobe on a private guest floor with guest bathroom and separate toilet. There's a large, dedicated guest lounge with TV/AppleTV/Netflix and access to a sunny, private garden. A good quality continental breakfast and barista espresso coffee included.
Our house is a large classic New Zealand Villa, built around 1900 in native wood and brought up to date in all the right places. There's off-street parking for guests directly in front of the house.
The guest room is on the lower ground floor with large windows and a walk in wardrobe. The room is centrally heated and it's clean, bright and freshly painted. The bed is a medium firmness Sleepyhead queen with 100% cotton sheets and duvet cover, with duck down and feather duvet inners in a choice of weights depending on your preference.
The guest bathroom has a large tiled shower and is shared with other guests. The guest toilet is separate and there are additional toilets in the house that can be used. Bathrooms and toilets are cleaned thoroughly at least once every day.
We have a large dedicated guest lounge on the ground floor with a wood burning fire for cozy winter nights reading or just watching Apple-TV or Netflix on the large TV. There are guest refreshments here as well with a wide range of complimentary teas and coffee, and normally home baked cakes or chocolate brownie. Help yourself!
Our hosting style is very easy going - please relax, enjoy and treat our home as your own.
The guest accommodation on the lower ground floor is carpeted and the various rooms are quite private from each other. The guest bathroom and separate toilet are here, along with a laundry room including dryer.
Up some steps directly to the guest lounge and through to the back garden which guests are more than welcome to use. There are garden seats as well as a garden table, chairs and sun umbrella on the top deck.
There is a separate dining room where guests have breakfast.

Your hosts are the Clark Family - Latimer, Jill, my wife, Jemima, my daughter (and chief brownie maker!), Digger the dog and Milo the cat.
Jill has started a new contract in Wellington and now stays down there 3 nights a week and Jemima has a boyfriend who she is spending more time with, but she has made a commitment for ongoing brownie supply!
We are all friendly, cheerful and eager to help you make your stay as enjoyable as possible - although Milo, being a cat, doesn't care quite that much, to be perfectly honest. We welcome guests who are cheerful, appreciative and considerate, and we would love to hear your story.
We promise to welcome you with warmth and friendship, and strive to make your visit to Auckland a memorable one.
We look forward to meeting you!

Our accommodation provides the extra quality in beds, sheets, duvets and pillows to ensure your comfort and relaxation. All wrapped up in the charm and character of a warm and bright, century old home.
Continental breakfast can generally be served at a time to suit you and includes a wide range of cereals and muesli, yogurt, stewed fruit, toast, croissants, a wide array of teas and barista espresso coffee.
We are more than happy to be flexible around check-in and check-out times depending on other guests' arrival and departure times. Just let us know what would be best for you and we will try and accommodate that, if we can.
We have a dog, "Digger" and a cat "Milo", who are very well behaved. We have actually had two guests stay who were allergic to cats but neither had any reaction while staying - no guarantees however. We keep them completely away from the guest bedrooms and generally from the guest lounge, unless of course, you'ld like a dog at your feet as you relax in the lounge!
We just ask that guests respect our home and are friendly, appreciative and considerate.

I'm Latimer, a friendly and enthusiastic Kiwi married to Jill who I dragged back to NZ from London some years ago, along with our 2 daughters. I was an RAF helicopter pilot in an earlier life and have worked in the telecom and internet industry since then. I'm a keen sailor having done the Whitbread Round the World (now Volvo) in 1991 and enjoy my golf. Jill is a Communications Consultant having owned her own Agency in London. One of the girls has left home and we've now decided to open our house to visitors through AirBnB, as we love meeting people and helping visitors get the most out of their visit to Auckland or New Zealand.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Chocks away! or if you prefer ... Bon voyage!
