The house is situated on an island just outside Haugesund centre. It's so central yet feels very far away. Perfect place for relaxation, beach exploration, kayaking and lounging about! No organised transport, but I will boat you over.
Vibrandsøy is a quiet, little haven just outside Haugesund. You'll reach it after a 5 minute boatride from the city harbour. There are no cars, no industry only the sound of the sea and birds and sheep! It's the perfect getaway if you fancy outdoor stuff or just want to have some quiet days by yourself or with friends. Try it on a stormy day, lighting a fire and snuggle up with some warm chocolate and good company!
As a guest you'll have access to the ground floor and the garden surrounding the house. Feel free to sample the berries growing in the garden. Otherwise the island is a nature reserve, so free accsess everywhere, but make sure to close every gate you open.

I'll be staying upstairs on the first floor and will be available if you have any problems or questions. I'd be happy to give you hints and tips on what to do in the area. I'm a social person, but will leave you in peace unless you want to have contact.
This is my home, and I will be staying in the same house while renting out parts of it. Please be considerate and keep the noiselevel down after 11pm, particularly during the weekdays.
Leave the place like you found it.
I'm a friendly, outgoing person who has a dream of making it as an innkeeper. So I bought this house, moved back home with my dog and am now making my first attempt at what hopefully will become my livelyhood. I love being outdoors, in the garden or walking about with my dog, and getting to know new people. I'm active in the local community, trying to make Haugesund a more environmental and diverse city. I work at Kystverket (norwegian coastal authority) with coastal planning and environmental issues.
