7 minutes walk from Mount Herzl and the main tram line is our private house surrounded by a beautiful garden.
This is one off 3 bedrooms we rent with a dinning/ cooking area, 2 bathrooms and a living room with cable TV, lots of books and games and wireless internet.
You have all you need to prepare light meals: Frigidaire, electric cooker, microwave, electric kettle, toaster-oven, plates, cups, cutlery, spices, olive oil and of course coffee and a choice of teas. As this is a cooking area and not a real kitchen, please do not deep fry.
One bathroom has a shower, the other a bathtub. There is no washing-machine on your floor, but I can run your laundry in our machine.
In the garden you'll find relaxing sitting areas, a grill for barbecue, games, hummocks and a small pool - ideal to cool down after a day of touring. (only in the summer)
Our house is easily reachable by the central tram line, which brings you quickly to most of Jerusalem's attractions. If you come by car you can park in front of our house. A grocery is a 5 minute walk away, a local shopping area you reach with 15 minutes walk trough a typical old neighborhood of Jerusalem with old gardens and trees. 5 minute car drive brings you to the picturesque Ein Kerem, nestled in the valley beyond our house with a mixture of famous and beautiful churches, monasteries, synagogues and stone paved paths along old stone houses with beautiful gardens. It is also a venue for classical music concerts and has restaurants known for al fresco dining. A 10 minute bus drive brings you to Hadassa Hospital with the famous Chagall Windows in the Synagoge. Yad V'Shem is a 15 minute walk away.
You can park freely in front of the house.

If you rent just one or two of the rooms please be aware that you have to share the common area with potential other guests. We ask our guests not to smoke inside the bedrooms. We would prefer if you do not smoke inside at all but if it is to difficult for you please open the windows to air. Eventually our children might sleep in other rooms on the same floor, but they live out of town. This means most of the time the whole area is for our guests. If you are the only guest, you have to take care of the place as it is your own. If there are more than one guest, we clean once a week the common area. If you need the vacuum cleaner tell us.
