I'm a nonprofit program manager and consultant and enjoy hosting people from around the world. For seven years, I hosted students through Language Studies International who came to Berkeley for language study intensives. And a few months ago started hosting through through Airbnb and enjoy hosting graduate students and postdocs visiting UC Berkeley, as well as others here for tourism and family visits. I've lived in Berkeley for over 15 years and have two grown sons. I sing in the Berkeley Community Community Chorus and toured with them to Europe--mostly recently in Belgium and Germany. I love to travel (wish I could do it more) and trips to China and England have been favorites. Gardening and walking the beautiful Berkeley hills and neighborhoods are favorite pastimes. I'm also a good cook and baker when in the mood. My partner, Stan, and I love to stay in Airbnb apartments when we travel because it helps us feel a part of the cities we visit.
