I love our location, on 175 acres of walking trails, field and woods, at EcoVillage at Ithaca (e(URL HIDDEN) but just a 10 minute drive to downtown Ithaca. We have a swimming pond, and an organic u-pick berry farm. We have a cat - allergies?
In addition to two B&B bedrooms, there is a room outside them both which is there for guests' use, including a couch, TV with Netflix access, games,
weights, floor space for game playing or exercises, a small table and breakfast nook. The front patio is also available - a nice place to have breakfast, when the weather is suitable.
The bathroom is private if the other B&B room is not occupied, but shared if the other room is occupied.
From the front door, stairs take you to the large common room just outside the two B&B bedrooms, as indicated above. The front door is left open, so you can come and go as it suits you.
I'm usually easily available in the house when needed. My husband and I are happy to answer questions about life here at EcoVillage at Ithaca. I provide pamphlets in each B&B bedroom about dining in town, activities, state parks, etc., plus city maps.
EcoVillage at Ithaca is on 175 acres just a 10-minute drive from downtown Ithaca. The city, with both Cornell University and Ithaca College, has a large variety of ethnic cuisine, the Moosewod Restaurant, a farmer's market, a large lake, and several state parks in the surrounding area, not to mention wineries.
On site where our B&B is, there are many walking trails through field and woods, two swimming ponds, a common house with pool table and ping pong table, a u-pick berry farm, and a craft store called Gourdlandia.
While public buses do stop at the end of our long driveway several times a day, they are not at all frequent; having a car makes transportation far easier.
Our cat is sociable, so if you don't want his company at night, close your bedroom door!
Please arrive after 1 p.m. and leave before 11 a.m.

I love living in an intentional community here at EcoVillage at Ithaca. I love walking through the countryside, communing with nature, eating healthy food, growing our own fruit and vegetables, and making my own wine from our fruit.
