Originally a Roman Fishing Village, Duquesa is now one of the best Marina’s on the Costa del Sol. Situated halfway between Marbella and Gibraltar it is nestled between two clean blue flag beaches and seems a million miles away from the hustle and bustle normally associated with the Costa del Sol.

The Complex has Adult and infant communal swimming pools and there is a lift from the garage to the apartment which is situated on the first floor.
The port has a wide choice of amenities including banks, supermarkets and a vast choice of affordable, top class restaurants which include Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian, English and Spanish cuisine. There is also a large variety of Bars.
Across the road from the Marina is the Duquesa Golf and Country Club which has a superb list of facilities.
Puerto de la Duquesa has an all year round moderate climate and the 300+ days of sunshine makes this a great location to holiday.
La Duquesa is served by 2 Airports, Malaga and Gibraltar.
Gibraltar is the closest, Malaga may be the cheapest to fly to.
Car hire from the Airports is recommended as there are many things to see just a short drive away and the apartment has a secure underground parking space, although you can get fairly cheap buses if you prefer not to drive.
You will have the whole apartment. There are two community pools.

Hi there, my name is Pauline and I am recently retired from Social Work and my husband is a retired University lecturer. We live in the UK but are currently sailing around Europe on our boat. Having left home in July 2015, we started in France and sailed round the Morbihan. During the winter we decided to go to Spain for the warmer temperatures and rented our apartment. We loved it so much being close to the sea and mountains and easy for people to come visit. We decided to buy it and will return here every winter.
