Perched on the top floor of a Victorian Stableblock in central England, this stunning contemporary en-suite studio bedroom is a get-away-from-it-all treat. The views from the balcony over farmland have to be seen and the sunsets are spectacular.
Long before you reach The Clock Tower tucked away in an enchanting valley, the redbrick tower hails your impending arrival at David and Lizzie Bland’s elegant and welcoming family home. The best room in the house is yours, a gigantic private suite for two nestled at the top of the period building with a luxurious bathroom and featuring a soft comfy sofa, woodburning fire, free wi-fi and flatscreen TV. Best of all are the far-reaching country views, most appreciated from under the sheets in bed in the morning. When you’re ready to face another day hop out and make your way to the bright conservatory, plush drawing room or terrace (weather permitting) and indulge in Lizzie’s sizzling cooked breakfasts.
The Clock Tower lies on the border of Northamptonshire and Warwickshire in the heart of England. Shakespeare country is nearby, together with historic Warwick, Althorp, the home and final resting place of Princess Diana, the excitement of Formula 1 at Silverstone and even the retail pleasures of Bicester Village.
The surrounding countryside is quite beautiful and remarkably unvisited by modern life. In the pretty local villages you will find a good selection of proper English pubs serving excellent beers and country food.
At The Clock Tower time really does stand still!
Guests are very welcome to use the drawing room, the conservatory and the gardens.
