Welcome to our Jesmond home. Set in a period townhouse, this spacious flat is in a prime location, great for exploring Newcastle and beyond. The property is ideally situated close to a range of local boutiques, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Jesmond is a vibrant suburb of Newcastle. The area is popular with students, young professionals and families. The property has been sympathetically renovated while retaining many original features including a real open fire. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for self-catering. The property also benefits from a south facing rear yard, well stocked with plants which offers a secluded place to unwind. There is also snug room featuring a sofa, desk, TV and WiFi access suitable for office working if required.
Guests have full access to all areas of the property on the ground floor. Please note that there are a couple of internal steps leading down the passage to the kitchen, therefore this property is not suitable for disabled guests. The main access is via a shared entrance hall with the upper flat. Guests are welcome to use the private rear yard - hopefully you will get some sunshine during your stay! Please note that the steps leading from the rear yard to the upper flat are not accessible to guests.

The property is situated in a popular student area and the area can be lively during term times (details of both Newcastle University and Northumbria University term dates can be found on their respective websites). There are parking restrictions operating outside the property, however, there is ample parking space and permits can be provided during your stay if required. Please note: there is an extra charge for parking scratch cards of £3.00 per card. Restrictions are in operation between 5.00pm until 10pm and between 7am and 9.30am Monday until Saturday. It is free to park outside the property between 9.30am and 5.00pm. There are NO restrictions on Sunday.
I hope that you find my home a real 'home from home'. I would expect that guests treat it with respect. A couple of rules apply to help us all have a great Air B and B experience. Thank you for adhering to them.
1. Please ensure that the shower curtain(s) are kept inside the shower tray.
2. Please ensure that the rear gate and rear door is kept locked at all times unless you are using the yard. This is for security reasons.
3. No Smoking anywhere inside the property - however smoking is permitted in the rear yard. There is an ash tray provided and I would be grateful if you used it.
4. Please leave the property in the same state as you found it :)
5. Please refrain from wearing stiletto heal shoes on the wooden floorboards as they can dent the boards.
6. Check-in is after 11AM. Check out before 12AM
7. No groups, parties or events.
