It's not just the accommodations (although nice too) but the experience and feelings you get from this resort when you stay here. It's like going home every year for us and can't wait to go back.
LOCATION! Walk to fireworks. 7/4 wk $1049 pool/spa
Stay 7/2/16, leave 7/09/16 for the discounted amount of $1049. This room is in MOST REQUESTED front area of the timeshare.
CAN'T GET ANY CLOSER TO THE MOST POPULAR WEEK OF THE YEAR WITH HARRAH'S/HARVEY'S FIREWORKS EXTRAGANZA WITH PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS THAT IS INCLUDED WITH OUR RESORT (Unless you are in a boat)
YES..IT IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR 2017
The dates of 7/2 leaving 7/9 FOR UNBELIEVABLE DEAL OF $1049 plus Airbnb's service fee which appears to be $118 and that's it. No resort fees, taxes or cleaning fees.
ONLY THOSE WITH BEACH PASS CAN ENTER AND THIS UNIT COMES WITH BEACH PASS. In 17 years we have owned there, the show has never been cancelled. Although it came close to canceling due to fires a couple times but the show did go on.
Although small, we have it ALL! Best location on Airbnb for South Lake Tahoe. NOTICE no cleaning fee or resort fee tacked onto your bill as many of the resorts are doing these days. I just looked up to stay here through the resort itself for this week and the cheapest room was $1625 to $1782. Looks like airbnb charges are $118 for this listing. You will see the fee prior to completing reservation. So you pay only $1167 total. HUGE SAVINGS!
3 person minimum (or 4 total with 2 small children)
In the heart of TAHOE. Most everything comes with the timeshare. Wifi, DVD's, bikes, continental breakfast daily, 2 pools, 2 jacuzzi spas outdoors, MANY activities, free video rentals, family friendly and way more that you would normally have to pay for elsewhere. Arrive 7/2 and depart 7/9. You get basically the last 2 nights free+, with the 7 day rental.
We are also steps away from Movie Theaters and pee wee golf, Raley's Grocery Store, Food choices like Fire & Ice, Coldstone, Starbucks, Subway, too many to list.
We love that fact that we can park our car and choose never to drive it if we desire. Total relaxing vacation. We also have a beach that is privately owned that we belong to. With your beach pass, you have access to it at the end of Stateline Blvd. We usually walk to it. Maybe half mile or less. There are free: bikes, some fishing gear, laundry facilities, popcorn, activities, morning donuts and coffee, etc. There are 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis and work out room. Check out Stardust Tahoe in a search. Airbnb won't let me put the website on here. I love hanging out in the Jacuzzi and just people watching on the Blvd all day long. We are directly across the street from the Marriott Timeshare Resort with the Heavenly Gondola that you can go on for fantastic views and hiking in the summertime (skiing in the winter).
We have owned here for 19+ years now and go every year. It is such a friendly family atmosphere that you won't find at the big resorts. Everyone gets to know each other and we feel like we are at a family reunion every year with those that go every year like we do and meeting new friends (lots). We will be there too in our 2 bdrm and available if you have questions or need help.
July 4th week is the most popular week in South Lake Tahoe and difficult to find great accommodations at a reasonable price.
This is for the Studio (called Satellite) which sleeps comfortably 2 in the queen Murphy Bed. They have another type of bed depending on which room you get which will accommodate a 3rd person but I would recommend a child, because The bed is small. I looked up the room on some of the hotel sites and Stardust and during 4th of July week, this room goes for between $1625 to $1782 with all fees (although Sunday 7/2, is already booked out there). The beginning of the week rents out higher than the first part due to the holiday. Check it out. I am renting it out for $1049 (plus airbnb's fee of $118) for the full week whether you use the full 7 days or not.
After you have been here a week, I bet you will fall in love with this place too as everyone has that I have brought here has. The Marriott across the street rent out in upwards of $400 a night. Fancier, if you like that. We enjoy the camaraderie and talking with neighbors from all over the world in a family atmosphere.
FREE WIFI. FREE PARKING for 1 vehicle. No elevator. If this is a concern, please inquire before booking and possibly I can get a bottom floor for you. Continental breakfast included on first come first serve basis.
Remember! I WILL BE THERE in my Own unit. There is a 3 person limit into this room. (Exception with small children)
FYI: Because it is July 4th week, we do collect a higher than usual deposit on the room. But, I have never kept a dime on anyone as of yet and hopefully never.
Come, enjoy and have fun. Gerry & Phil

If you come and we end up with higher than normal temperatures, for instance, the CA central Valley is having a heat wave (100+ degrees), it can tend to get warm in your room here in Tahoe and there is no a/c. Normally Tahoe does not need A/C. Although, the Stardust provides fans and extra fans when needed, we tend to bring our own as well, just in case. The nights cool way down. It can, and has in the past, get warm in the afternoons. If your one who likes to keep the windows shut at night, this is probably not the place for you, because, depending on the person, it can get uncomfortably warm. This is not normal and have had friends stay year after year and love it. But this is the only complaint i get if I get any and wanted to give you this information.
Actually a studio, not a 1 bedroom but airbnb does not have a studio as a choice.
There is one queen size Murphy bed with real mattress. The small one person bed could be a couch that makes into a makeshift bed or a fold up type bed for one.
Follow all timeshare resort rules. Ask for it in the office.

My husband and I moved here from Fremont CA (SF Bay Area hour away) to Manteca, CA, 15 years ago, in 2002, and said....whatever will we do with this big ol' house? So in 2011 when Airbnb entered my life, I knew It was an answer and the reason we fell upon this particular home. It was made for Airbnb and has brought us unbelievable joy hosting such of variety of people from all over the world. I have learned and experienced so much interacting with my guests. Can't tell you how lucky I feel to be able to do this. So blessed.
Our last daughter is moving to Disneyland and will be attending the Disney College Program and working at the park. I'm so happy for her but sad too that she will no longer be close to us. We will officially have joined the empty nesters club. Our daughter, is a very sweet loving girl and was the reason for the move to Manteca. She has completed her AA degree and now she is off to her next adventure.
We have 2 other older daughters. Our eldest is a nurse with our 2 grandkids and our second daughter is a very talented artist who will soon be working with the Humane Society in Santa Barbara very soon here.
My husband's hobby is Halloween and he and his partner spent a lot of time in the 17 years of presenting the "Scary Perry Haunted House" which showed about 5 nights a year, but takes about 6 months to prepare and pack up each year. It was top quality Haunted House and outdid what a neighborhood haunted house would usually put do. 2014 was our last showing at our home because we outgrew our home and neighborhood. They are still on the hunt to find another location that suits this production better.
We have lived in the bay area all our lives until we moved an hour east of it. So we know the bay area quite well. We have spent many years turning our yard into an oasis and think we are about done. We get many compliments on how beautiful it has turned out and it is great to see my vision become a reality. I love flowers and gardening but since we got the dog, things have changed. The dog who thinks flowers are toys. Flowers make me happy. He is 5 now, so I may try to attempt growing them again.
I love hearing people's stories so I hope, if you stay here, you will tell me yours.
I, myself, happily retired from 34 years in the automotive industry. I have a jewelry business on site. Also sell cinnamon rolls. I was encouraged by guests to post this because they said they wish they had been prepared in advance of knowing this. Just ask me if you are interested. I don't feel right pushing my products onto my guests, so please don't worry about that. If you enjoy looking, that's different.
Hope your plans can be included with a stay in our home.
Happy travels, Gerry & Phil of Manteca, CA
