The almost 2,000 Sq ft Plaza Amigo, is a classic mid-century modern 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home conveniently located in Movie Colony East, one of Palm Springs oldest and most desirable neighborhoods. Located on a corner of two extremely quiet streets, this remodeled home boasts a stunning and unobstructed view of the San Jacinto Mountains from the patio by your private salt water swimming pool or from your Jacuzzi.

The house has a peaceful Zen-like courtyard, with a fountain, hammock, and different citrus trees, to which the living room, dining room and one of the bedrooms open up to which large sliding glass doors.

The main living area of the home has a cozy seating area with a large 47” HD flat screen television with surround sound system, Blue Ray DVD/CD player and I-pod holder. The dining area has a large dining room table that seats up to 8 comfortably. The kitchen has everything you need, including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, gas stove. There is a separate washer/dryer outside on the side of the house.

There are four colorful and stylish bedrooms, two on each side of the home. Each bedroom has its own color, but all are equipped with brand new flat screen TV’s, DVD players and I-Pod alarm clocks.

The “Green” room has a designer handmade metal Queen size bed and opens up to the courtyard. The “Burgundy” room, which is located on the same side of the house, has a stylish low platform California King size bed. Both these bedrooms have 32” flat screen TV’s, remotely operated ceiling fans and large closets. They share the “pink” bathroom which has been kept in its original 50’s style. This bathroom has a combined bathtub/shower as well as a separate walk-in shower.

The “Orange” master bedroom and the “Blue” room are both located on the other side of the house and each have French doors that open to the pool area with views of the mountains. The master bedroom has a low platform California King bed, a 37” flat screen TV, DVD player, a separate desk, large closet and ceiling fan. The master bedroom and the “blue” room share a second bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. The “blue” room, which opens up to the breezeway, has two queen size beds, a 32” flat screen TV and DVD player.
The breezeway, which connects the pool area with the courtyard, has a wet bar with refrigerator.

This home is fully equipped with pool floats, high speed wireless internet, phone with unlimited local and long-distance calling, cable TV, high thread count towels and linens, BBQ, and everything you'll need for a wonderful Palm Springs experience.

PARTIES AND NOISE: Amplified music is not allowed outside the unit. Tenant agrees not to bring speakers outside and to not crank up the music playing inside so it can be also heard outside. Parties and/or events of any kind are strictly prohibited at the unit. No party or event may take place without prior written permission. For the purposes of this rental agreement, all parts will consider that there is a party inside the unit whenever the number of daytime occupants in the unit exceeds the maximum number of daytime occupants for this unit as specified below in section D. Notwithstanding the former prevision, even if the maximum number of daytime occupants is not exceeded, all other common definitions of a party will be accepted, whenever the noise level inside the unit is beyond what is reasonable accepted as normal. In the event that a non-authorized party or event takes place at the unit, Tenant risks forfeiting the entire security deposit in addition to any costs associated with legal remedies that may be necessary. Tenant agrees to keep the noise level inside the unit under respectable levels, so as to not interfere with the peace and quiet of any person outside the boundaries of the unit. Tenant agrees to conform to all provisions and city ordinances per the relevant Municipal Code. Failure of Tenant to adhere to City regulations will be considered a breach of this rental agreement. Tenant hereby authorizes the Manager to make charges to the Tenant's credit card in file for up to $1,500 per incident, should any complaint about the noise level inside the unit arise with the local police or the local city authorities. Furthermore, Tenant recognizes the right of the manager to ask Tenant and Tenant's guests to vacate the unit immediately if it becomes necessary without a refund of the rental amount.
ADDITIONAL OCCUPANTS: If more than the agreed number of overnight occupants as described in the Reservation Summary spend the night at the Unit, or more than double the maximum number of overnight occupants as described in the Units website are at any given time inside the unit, Tenant risks forfeiting part or all of the security deposit.
SMOKING: Smoking inside any of our units is strictly prohibited. Smoking within 25 feet of multi-unit dwellings is strictly prohibited by California law. Our non-smoking policy includes all common areas, patios and balconies. Tenant risks forfeiting their security deposit in addition to any associated cleaning costs. A minimum charge of $250 will apply per reported incident.
FILMING: The filming of any still or motion pictures in any format that requires more than 2 persons and/or any specialized gear, apparatus or crew is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained. Failure to obtain written authorization may result in full deposit forfeiture.
PETS: Our pet policy varies per property. Pets over 25 pounds are not allowed in any of our properties. If Tenant brings a pet over 25 pounds to the property, Tenant risks forfeiting part or all of the security deposit. Pets weighing less than 25 pounds are allowed only with prior consent and written approval. Applicable pet fees are included in "Reservation Summary" section of this agreement. An additional pet deposit within the security deposit may be required.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: The security deposit is in addition to the rental amount.e ammount returned is also conditional upon all terms of this agreement being met (examples include but are not limited to: violations of our non smoking policy, violations of our no party policy). Tenant is liable for all replacements and repairs that are outside what is considered normal wear and tear and will be taken from their deposit.
CHECK IN: Unless agreed differently by the Manager in writing, check-in is any time after 4:00 PM. Manager will send Tenant the instructions for a self check-in in advance, or keys or and entry-code will be provided at property location upon check-in. Keys will not be issued with a balance owing or without a signed rental agreement in the owners, or owner's representatives, possession. Once Tenant has checked into the unit or he/she has been granted access, Tenant accepts the condition, size and configuration of the Rental Premises in as/is where/is condition and accepts full financial responsibility per this agreement. If for any reason Tenant considers the Unit as not acceptable, Tenant must notify the Manager immediately, so Manager can attempt to remedy the situation to Tenant's satisfaction.
CHECK OUT: By 11:00 am. A later check-out may be exceptionally granted at an extra cost but only if these two conditions are met: 1. there is no new arrival checking into the property on the day of tenant's departure and 2. the request for a late check-out is made within twenty-four hours prior to the check-out date stated on the agreement. Charges for a late check-out not timely requested will be made against your security deposit for a minimum of the total cleaning fee charge stated on your agreement and a maximum of the nightly rental fee. Please leave all keys, garage openers and such at the location. A $50 per item fee will be charged for each lost key and remote control and a $150 per parking permit fee will be charged for each permit not returned.
CLEANING: Each property will be inspected and cleaned after your departure. The cleaning fee you have paid will cover this. You are required to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it by making sure, dishes are done and put away, and the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted and sanitized. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges will be deducted from your security deposit at the rate of $25 per hour
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Plan on packing your personal toiletry items. Since we provide a limited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and other dispensable items to get you started on your first day of vacation, you should plan on making a trip to the grocery store to replenish these items as you need them.
TENANT'S LIABILITY: Tenant agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property (other than normal wear and tear) by Tenant or Tenants guests, including, but not limited to, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment furnished. If damages are in excess of the security deposit being held, Tenant agrees to reimburse owners for costs incurred to repair/replace damaged items.
HOLD HARMLESS: Owner(s) / Manager(s) do not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, phone, internet, cable or satellite TV, or electricity services or plumbing. Nor will Owners accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control. The foregoing notwithstanding, Owner(s)/Manager(s) will use good faith efforts to remedy any deficient condition following notice.
POOLS, JACUZZIS, WALKWAYS AND BALCONIES (SELECTED UNITS): The undersigned is fully aware that these can be dangerous, that the walkways/balcony and areas around the pools and Jacuzzis can be slippery when wet, and that injury is likely to occur to anyone who is not careful. Tenants should observe and adhere to all rules and policies as posted at the property. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of the walkways/balcony.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The undersigned, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from, provided however, that Owner(s)/Manager(s) shall remain liable for such damages to the extent that such damages are determined to be the direct result of Owner(s)/Manager(s) negligence. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.
PERSONAL PROPERTY LEFT BEHIND: If found, any items left behind will be mailed back upon request via USPS. The cost of shipping, shipping container and any packing materials will be deducted from the security deposit along with a handling fee.
TENANT AS SUBJECT OF THE LAW: Tenant acknowledges that during the length of the rental period, Tenant and his/her guests is/are subject to all State and Federal laws, County Ordinances and City regulations valid within the jurisdiction where the Unit is located. Owner(s) and/or Manager(s) are neither responsible to inform Tenant of what these laws, ordinances and city regulations are, nor could Owner(s) and/or Manager be held liable should Tenant(s) and/or Tenant's guests commit a crime, misdemeanor, felony or infraction (including parking infractions).
3) UTILITIES: On stays of 25 nights or greater, Tenant is responsible for actual gas and electric consumption charges, including those resulting from pool/spa heating where applicable. The amount to be charged will be calculated based on the reading of the meters upon check-in and check-out. Should an actual meter reading not be possible, Manager reserves the right to estimate the charges based in historical records. Utility charges will be discounted from the security deposit unless otherwise agreed. If at any time during the Tenant's stay the amount to be charged for utilities exceeds the amount held as security deposit, Tenant agrees to pay the amount immediately as requested or have the amount held as security deposit increased accordingly. For units with Air Conditioning equipment, during the months of May through October, consumption of gas and electric up to $25.00 / day is included. Where applicable and whenever pool/spa heating is requested, this service will be charged separately at$50/night or the rate indicated in the reservation summary.

The location was great. Great spot to spend time with family, and close enough to downtown Palm Springs to enjoy the night life. My family loved the pool and we really enjoyed our BBQd. Definitely recommend this place to future visitors of Palm Springs!

This place was absolutely perfect. Communication with the host was very responsive and checking in was a breeze. The place was even bigger than we thought and was clean and ready for us. The pool and hot tub were perfect. Really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely book this place again next time.

When we arrived to Palm Springs we were told that day that the air conditioning had stopped working the day before and they couldn't get anyone to fix it. Our host Michael said that he had been at the house all day putting new units in so that the house could be cool for us. When we got to the house one of the rooms was still 80 degrees. The kitchen and living room was updated and cozy. However the bathrooms need updating and some of the rooms had a musty smell. The pool also needs resurfacing. Also the first night was a nightmare. One of the rooms was still too warm to sleep in, so a couple of us slept in the living room. Also one of the new air conditioning units that they had put in one of the rooms started releasing a foul odor so we had to turn it off and sleep in a hot room. We constantly kept calling our host Michael and he was very accommodating. He was our saving grace. He was always doing his best to make sure we were comfortable. The next day he put us in a different house which was smaller but so much nicer and the air conditioning worked! I would have to say that Michael far exceeded our expectations and is an excellent host! If it weren't for him our whole trip would have been ruined. Thank you again Michael for making sure we had a memorable trip!
