Located in a heritage building on the corner of Montreal's lively Rue Saint-Denis, and main artery rue Sherbrooke, my 4th floor penthouse apartment is a sunlit, spacious, open concept space. It's two balconies offer a stunning view of the surrounding Quartier des Spectacles and Plateau (particularly at sunset). Food, drink, dance, culture, fitness, shops and fun are all a stone's throw away, and the whole city is easily accessible from the Metro steps away! Join me in the heart of Montreal!
My space is a true reflection of my own nerdy, artistic, and slightly intellectual personality. :) The main living room features a gallery devoted to my favourite (British) novels, movies, and TV shows, with a small book nook and library tucked into a corner. With my 42', Apple TV enabled TV as a focal point, this room is a veritable media and book wonderland. I love stories and treasure this space.
The kitchen is warm, homey, and features an antique buffet (courtesy of my parents) and a dining table that seats up to 6 guests. With plenty of counter space, and all kitchen appliances your heart could desire, this kitchen welcomes cooks who love a home made meal.
The private room is very large rectangular space, complete with a two panel closet, a drawer, a work desk (and, of course, a fully dressed Queen size bed!). It looks out on the full southern breadth of old Montreal, and is a well lit at all times of the day. But, if you are looking for some respite from the sun, the curtains are black-out and will provide you the darkness you need to sleep in or nap as needed.
The bathroom is quite a cozy, and while hot water is a luxury only available for approximately 5 minutes in the shower, fear not, it is more than enough time to get clean and forces us to be economical (and environmental) about our time and resources! :) With plenty of counter space for products, and a fully working washer and dryer, this space will perfectly meet your needs.
All the spaces, excluding my own room, will be accessible to guests.

I moved to Montreal just 2 years ago to pursue some post-post-secondary education at McGill. Born and raised in Toronto, I am as much of an explorer of this beautiful as my guests may be! I love the lifestyle here (in particular the parks), and will always be happy to share my experience with others!
Along that line, I am an avid cook, a skilled bartender, and an experienced customer service representative. I worked for many years in the hotel/catering business (I have great stories from both that I would be very happy to share with you), both of which make me particularly attuned to the requirements and responsibilities of being a host.
Today I work as the editor of a magazine, and as a research assistant, both from home. In my spare time I love to eat, drink, explore Montreal, go to shows, yoga or consume some of the extensive media materials available in my living room. :) I look forward to meeting you!
