My place is located in West Logan Square in Chicago. It’s just two blocks away from the Fullerton Bus and 5-10 minutes to the California Blue line stop via the Fullerton Bus. It takes in all about 30 minutes to get from my place to downtown Chicago. There are also many wonderful and exciting things to do in my neighborhood as well. Logan Square is an eclectic and vibrant neighborhood in its own right, boasting excellent food and bars as well as one of the oldest and most renowned blues clubs in the Midwest.
For example: Revolution Brewery (website hidden) The Logan Bar (website hidden) Marble (website hidden) and many others. One of Chicago’s old blues clubs is an 8 minute walk from my place. Rosa’s Lounge (website hidden). And there is a great restaurant right across the street called the Brown Sack. (website hidden).
I live in the building that my best friend owns. We have lived here for 5 years and we are like family. We eat and drink together all the time. You can usually fine me cooking food for dinner outside in our lovely back yard.

I live in Logan Square and work downtown. I enjoy tennis, cooking, traveling and spending time with my friends. I was born and raised in Texas but I have lived in Chicago for 16 years. Chicago is a great city; I enjoy showing people places to go.
5 Things I can't live without
Peace of Mind
I like all kinds of music, but currently I am going back to the 90s. When it comes to literature its definitely all about non-fiction. My favorite travel destinations are both coast, Cali and NY. But I also love going home to Texas.
So basically I have an extra bed room and I want to host people traveling to Chicago. I feel like this is something that I can do to help others out. I know how expensive it can be to get a hotel in this city. I live in a great neighborhood 2 block for the Fullerton bus and a 5-10 minute ride to the Blue Line. Its very easy to get to downtown and other parts of the city via public transportation from this location. I do it everyday. I am pretty much home during week; I like to cook and there is always extra food. I love hosting and meeting new people. I have a lot of friends who feel the same way.
