Welcome to the Davos and the Village Suisse!
The Davos has 2 closed bedrooms with a queen and double bed, and an upstairs loft with 3 single beds. Our 60 year old rustic chalet is made entirely of wood/stone. It has a beautiful stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, cable tv/dvd, high-speed wifi, barbecue, picnic table and deck. A perfect size for families with children. Common laundry facilities are in the basement (well sound-proofed and convenient!).
Your pets are welcome and stay for free! Kids under 18 also stay for free so be sure to get in touch with us so we can correct the pricing for you before you reserve.
We have a maximum of 6 adults per chalet, but our chalets are generally most comfortable for 2-4 adults, plus a couple of kids if you have them!
Le Village Suisse (winner of the Grand Prize for Tourism Laurentians in 2010 & 2011) is a small family-run cottage resort in the heart of the Laurentian village of Val-David. My name is Diana and my husband Gino and I have 9 little swiss chalets on 2 acres of land in the village of Val-David. We look forward to welcoming you!
To find our front desk, look for the red Village Suisse sign on your left after the Sapinière and Condor intersection. Make a left and you will see our Réception on the lower floor of the first chalet on your left as you enter the parking.
You have access to the whole chalet as well as our entire site.
You'll enjoy the pool, hot-tub (year round) and lake as well as our pedal boats for free in the warmer months. We also have a few bikes (all ages) for rent.
You will also receive a free pass to the Regional Park where you can enjoy different sports and activities depending on the season (walking, biking, rock climbing, bird watching, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and more.) Bring your own equipment or rent it at the Regional park which is right next door.
In summer take out a pedal boat on the lake, fish, swim in the pools, relax in the hot tub, explore the Regional Park (hiking, biking, rock climbing), and don't forget the little village of Val-David (ice cream, restaurants, market, grocery, etc) which is just a 5 minute walk.
In winter our chalets are ski in, ski out! Over 160km of groomed cross-country ski trails, 30km of snowshoeing trails (dogs welcome!), 2 sledding runs, 3 skating rinks and the cute little village of Val-David...all just steps from our chalets. Downhill skiing is just 2km away.

Free + Time. 2 words that encapsulate mostly everything we cherish. The value of these two words explodes when combined together.
It is my honour and privilege that you pick one of my cottages as a place to spend your free time with your loved ones. I will do everything in my power to deserve your trust and make sure that time is carefree, happy and full of delightful moments. Thank you. Anne-Marie
While working as an Advertising Creative Director in Montreal, I fell in love with Val David. I found out that there was an awesome place for sale, perfect to share my love of the area with people looking for a relaxing, fun, timeless moment in time. I sold everything in Montreal and moved here. Now it is my full-time life. We have 10 rental chalets and a wonderful, loyal clientele. When we are not off traveling ourselves, my husband, our children and I live just 1km away from the Village Suisse and are on site nearly every day!
