I love my apartment. It's got a great cozy and modern feel and is right in the middle of one of the best and trendiest neighbourhoods in Toronto. The Ossington strip is literally a 2 minute walk and filled with amazing restaurants, shops and coffee houses and I am a 5 minute walk from Trinity Bellwoods Park not to mention that Queen St. is steps away!
The master bedroom is where you would be staying on the main floor. It's a lovely and bright room facing the amazing street I live on with thick curtains for privacy. Although the space is close to Ossington, it's on a side street and is very quiet.
There is a living room which has a warm and modern feel with all sorts of visually pleasing aids and nick knacks. There is a comfy sectional couch to stretch out on and watch the big screen HD 3D LG TV with access to Netflix for those nights you want to stay in. I also have unlimited bandwidth so on your nights in you can watch movies or shows to your hearts content.
There is a bathroom on the main floor and in the lower level. The lower level bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. I also have a washer and dryer in case you need to do some laundry. You can use the lower level bathroom whenever you need so no need to tip toe around the place.
I will be sleeping in the lower level and around to help guide you in any way I can around our beautiful city.
I have a sweet little dog. She's a chihuahua and her name is Marcy. She's kind of a miracle dog because in the time I have had her, I've never heard her bark. She is also a sweet cuddle pie and loves everyone so she is no danger to anyone coming into the space. She will be sleeping with me of course :)
The space is extremely clean and tidy and I pride myself in keeping it as such.
Also, as an FYI, I am a transgender male and this space is completely 100% LGBT friendly so same sex couples are very welcome, as well as being an anti oppression home where you will not face any racism, sexism, ableism, body shaming, transphobia, whatsoever. For those of you who are concerned with such matters and looking for a safe space.
PLEASE NOTE- If you need overnight parking you can get a temporary parking permit online via the City of Toronto website and pre-print it before you arrive. It allows you to park on the street or in the area of the parking permit number. There's usually parking right on the street!
You will have access to the entire space with the exception of the designated basement area in which I will be staying in. There is no back yard, only a shared cemented back area that is shared between myself and the neighbour so we prefer it not be used.
Общение с гостями
I am more than happy to help you get to know the city and how to get around. I'm also an Uber driver so if you're in need of getting somewhere and we can coordinate it, I'm happy to be your driver!
Другие важные подробности
There are two tenants in the floor above. They are lovely and quiet as mice and I very rarely ever hear them. They will know of your presence when you arrive.
I have a little sweet dog so if you have allergies, even though I keep my space immensely clean, this may not be the place for you.
If you have a vehicle and require overnight parking, there are two solutions to this. The first is a City Of Toronto temporary parking permit that you can get online via this link which is the more affordable option:
There is also a Green P parking lot on Ossington, just North of Queen, which is literally a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
• Check-in time is 1 PM (noon).
• No parties or events
• No smoking
The place is strictly non smoking so if you are a smoker or if you vape, you can do it out in front of the house where there is an ashtray. We like music and noise to be kept to a respectable level but we're also not prudes and know when to let loose.
The place should be kept tidy and garbage, recycling and compost put in the proper places all of which are set up in an extremely easy way to deal with.
You should keep all valuables in your room.
I don't allow for cats because I have a dog but if you would like to bring your dog, you will have to let me know in advance so that we can discuss how you will be caring for him/her. Your pet must be house trained and cannot in any way have aggression issues or possessiveness. If the dog does any damage to the apartment, you will have to agree to pay for whatever the item damaged is in full.
I love dogs. Especially little ones :) I have one and I need to know the details for yours so that all animals are happy and safe together. If your dog doesn't get along with other dogs, they won't be a good fit for the space.
