Peaceful master bedroom on 2nd floor with view to back woods. Bathroom right across the hall. A second room on same floor (see "The Lovely Bedroom") is available for groups. Bathroom may occasionally be shared with guests in second bedroom. Please inquire. Full breakfast and kitchen access.
Our one hundred year old farmhouse has hosted many family gatherings and dinners with friends from all over the world. In fine weather, the front porch becomes an extra living room, and the back patio is set up with a cafe table and umbrella. The house is decorated with a bohemian flair reflecting our lives as writers (Norberto is the Dominican Republic's most famous living poet.) Our son, Tito (24) is a comic book writer and my first novel CIRCUS GIRL was published last fall. Many spaces to read, write and dream. And a spot for your car in the driveway.
You will have access to a guest bathroom across the hall. Our son Tito occupies the bedroom next to yours but will use our family bathroom on the third floor. You will have full use of the dine-in kitchen. Please enjoy our home-cooked breakfast and /or delivery or take-out meals downstairs. No food in the bedrooms please. The front porch and back patio are pleasant outdoor spaces for al fresco dining in warm weather.
Sorry--the treehouse ( and Beth's writing studio) is off-limits unless accompanied by your host.

Hablamos espanol! Parliamo italiano! Ici on parle francais! My husband and I are retired professors ( former faculty at Boston College, Wellesley College and Babson College) and we welcome our international guests, fellow academics and parents of college students. Ask us anything you'd like to know about our local colleges. We will be happy to help in any way to make your stay with us comfortable and enjoyable. We have our own bedroom and bathroom on the third floor right above you. Just tell me what you like for breakfast! Bienvenidos! Benvenuti! Bienvenus!

We welcome you as guests (and roommates) in our family home. Please be aware that others may be disturbed by afterhours cellphone conversations and door banging after 10 pm. We have a friendly calico cat. If you do not like cats, our house is not for you. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property, even outside. (Sorry, I am allergic.) Check-in at 4 pm and check-out at 11 am is firm. Please do tell us your arrival plans. If you want to drop off your suitcase, so that you can explore unencumbered prior to check-in, you can leave your baggage on the porch. Just let us know in advance. Thanks for reading!
Please be tidy, leaving your bedroom, bathroom and all common areas the way you found them. To keep clothing off the floor, hangers are provided. Quiet please from 10 pm to 9 am on the second floor. Please close all doors softly. If you need to use your cellphone after hours, please use the studio (behind the beaded curtain) on the first floor. No unregistered guests may stay overnight. We appreciate advance notice if you expect to receive local visitors.

We are retired Spanish professors and full-time writers. Norberto is a poet from the Dominican Republic and I write fiction--often in my treehouse! Our son Tito (24) writes comics. Like many writers, we can't live without the company of a cat! When we are not at our desks writing on the third floor, we enjoy walks around Wellesley's many trails, tennis and yoga by day and watch movies after home-cooked meals every night. Together we have visited over 25 countries and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Hopefully, we also speak your language! Welcome! Bienvenidos! Benvenuti! Bienvenu!
