Uncle Loy's Boutique House is located in the area near Suan Mungkud Palace. King Rama I bestowed the palace to his niece, Pra Samphanthawongter Jaofah Thong-Jeen Krom Luang Narinthannarasawara. Later Somdet Chaofah Krom Khun Isranuluk bought this palace to be his royal residence. At present we can still a part of the wall of this ancient palace.
Uncle Loy's Boutique House is off Arun Amarin Road. The house is in 'Soi Arun-Marin 20' (Arun-Amarin 20 alley). This is known as Soi 'Sala Ton Chan' which refers to a one-storey teak house, with a high space underneath and two Chan trees next to it. This house was more than 100 years old and it was not clear who built it. The locals used it for religius activities. The owner of the ancient city (Muang Boran) bought the house and relocated to Muang Boran. At present we can see the highly venerated Ton chan shrine, which is a replica of 'Sala Ton Chan' at the entrance off the alley.
Guest can access any place in the house except other private room.
