Do you want to get back to 60s (Pop art era) or even back to the 18th century (era of the mighty Mozart)? You can experience this unique combination in our newly renovated basement flat!
The basement flat is situated right next to the „Bertramka“ villa, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart finished his Don Giovanni opera before it’s Prague premiere. There is a beautiful park next to the villa with stunning views over the city centre.
INTERIOR AND EQUIPMENT
The flat is fully furbished and convenient for families, friends or couples. The size is 90 m2. There is one bathroom with shower and two separated toilets. Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, cooker, oven, toaster, kettle and microwave oven.
Because you are visiting Czech Republic, which is well known for its beer, there is a tap in the kitchen if you wanted to have your own fresh draught beer at home. If you stay with us for more than a week, you get a beer keg for free. There are two beds 80x200cm, which can be put together or separated. Also there are two studio couch beds, 115x185cm each. That is why the flat is most convenient for 4 adults or 3 adults with two children. There is also a possibility to add an air mattress. Another possibility is to book the flat above, there is space for 4 people. Look into my portfolio for Mozart’s street apartment.
Beddings, towels, shampoos, shower gels and a blow-dryer are of course included. You can relax while playing mini billiard, or you can dance, as there is a high quality sound audio set and colourful club lights. There is also a WIFI connection and a backyard for smoking or just relaxing.
ARRIVAL FROM THE AIRPORT
It is very easy to use public transport for getting from the airport to the Andel station. Either you can take a bus 191 straight from the airport to Andel, which takes about 40 mins. Or you can go to Zlicin by bus nr. 100 and then change to the metro – line B and go to Andel, which takes around 36 mins. If you arrived late at night, you can use bus nr. 510 to Svandovo divadlo and change to tram nr. 58 to Andel, that takes about 45 mins.
You will need a ticket for this journey with a value of 32 CZK, which lasts an hour and a half. It is a bit more than one euro usually, public transport in Prague is really cheap.
Общение с гостями
My daughter lives in the same house, so you can speak to her if there was anything you needed to know during your stay.
Другие важные подробности
There is a corner shop 2 minutes away with basic groceries and toiletries. Huge shopping store „Novy Smichov“ is about 5 mins away with shops like TESCO and various grocery an clothing stores. Right next to the metro station there is a favourite shop and bistro „Delmart“, which specializes mainly on high quality Czech products. On „Stefanikova“ street there is a bakery and butchers. There are excellent candy shops on „Lidicka“ street.
Every Saturday there is a farmer‘s market on the banks of „Vltava“ river. You can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and eggs etc. From Czech farmers, or just have a coffee and some snack with a view over the river and Prague castle. Market is opened from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can walk there or use a tram from Andel to „Palackeho namesti“, it is two stops away. From April there is a farmer’s market also at Andel right next to metro, it is a bit smaller than the market on the riverbank. Opening times are every Friday morning till late afternoon.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
„Smichov“, the area, where you will be living is known for its beer. It is home to the „Staropramen“ brewery, which means you can find it in lots of local bars, together with other beer brands as well of course. I recommend „Prostor“ restaurant, with central-european cuisine and „Staropramen“ beer. „Potrefena husa“ is another favourite Czech restaurant. In „Zlaty klas“ you can try typical bohemian dishes and „Pilsner Urquell“ beer. Beer enthusiasts will definitely appreciate „Bernard pub“, where you can taste several types of their beer and also have a good meal. You can try „Kozel“ beer in „Kozlovna Lidicka“ restaurant.
If you are not a fan of beer and Czech cuisine. You can visit italian pizzeria „Ristorante Corleone“ or italian restaurant „Pizza Coloseum“. If you fancy french cuisine I reccomend „Le Camille“ bistro with their delicious homemade pasta. For japanese, visit „Planet sushi“ restaurant, „Sushitime“ or „Kobe“. You can also have delicious sushi on the top floor of „Novy Smichov“ shopping centre, where it costs around 400 CZK to eat all you can. For delicious healthy salads, burgers and sandwiches try bistro „Delmart“. And they have really good burgers in „Le Burger“.
If you want to go for a drink and dance, I recommend friday or saturday, those are the liveliest nights. Bar „Blazinec“ and „Pekelnej bar“ are nearby. However, higher density of clubs is around „Mustek“, „Narodni trida“, „Namesti republiky“ and „Staromestska“ metro stations.
I also rent one more flat in the same house, which is for 4 people, so there could be 10 people all together.
Also suitable for business people, because it is located in one of the main business areas in Prague and there is a possibility to book conference room right next to the flat.
Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment.
