On an airy hilltop above the Certosa of Galluzzo, 10 minutes from Florence and Chianti, CasaBartolini is an ideal 'door to Tuscany' every season of the year, while offering the comforts and ample spaces of a true home. Three bedrooms, two baths, large living room, well-appointed kitchen and dining room provide wide views of farmed hills and distant mountains. Two terraces, parking area, wifi are for guests' use. Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pisa and sea are just an hour's drive away.
Spacious, light-filled and airy, Casa Bartolini is laid out on two floors (total 150 sq m/1615 sq ft - see floor plan in photos), composed of loggia-dining area, living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two baths. The wide, panoramic terrace in front of the house - perfect for open-air dining - and first floor terrace are reserved for guests. You are welcome to gather the aromatic herbs and blooms found in pots and the beds around the house for cooking and freshening the house.
Children and large families are welcome, as well as couples in search of an ideal location for a tranquil holiday in Tuscany.
Babies and toddlers sleeping in a child's bed stay for free and are not counted in the total number of guests. Two children's beds and two highchairs are available.
Architecture, furnishings and artwork: the house is a rare example of radical architecture, a movement in which the young couple took active part as members of Archizoom. Furniture, objects, artwork and publications (please browse) present in the house are testimonials of the period and Bartolini's work as an artist and designer.
The ample parking area next to the house is reserved for guests.
Beyond our gate, you will enjoy walking the numerous ridgeway lanes that offer views in all directions over the Tuscan landscape.
Art lovers are welcome to visit Dario's studio by appointment to see his sculpture, paintings, drawings and current digital work.

On request and subject to our schedules, we are happy to prepare breakfast and / or dinner for you with local produce and homemade dishes.
