Fantastic and comfortable apartment with pool view. So quiet (apart from animals :) beautiful songbird and some dogs every now and then, nothing that would be an issue falling asleep). Apt np 6, in my humble opinion, is best - shaded in the morning so you can avoid the heat before you head out for the day, and one wall is a rock! Similar to how early Canarians lived :) . The pool was cool at this time (end of March), but my husband braved it twice. Kitchen had all essentials cutlery, crockery, even paella pan, oil, spices. You need your own cosmetics. The bed was firm and I was surprised how well we slept! (either the mattress or the holiday, who knows ;) ) small terrace just outside or a very large one upstairs with tables and couches so plenty of opportunities to chill out and sometimes even meet other guests (if you want). That said, we hardly saw or heard anyone, seemed like we were alone a lot of the time (great after the buzz of holiday resorts).
Tip: there weren't any English channels apart from BBC World but we found a great jazz radio on channel 751 ;) Wifi was patchy but if you let lovely Cecilia (living on the premises) know she will sort it out most of the time.
Location: I'd say car is definitely best though I know some people didn't have one. It's about 15 min walk to shops (very well stocked and priced Spar), restaurants (typical tiny resort, we didn't visit any) and the beach; though our favourites were Amadores for the beach (about 10-15 min drive) and Puerto de Mogan (15-20min other direction) for everything else (beautiful harbour, amazing restaurants - we recommend Basil's Bistro, Friday market).
All in all thoroughly recommended if you're after a different, chilled experience far away from crowds and cheesy entertainment, and comfy apartment!
