Hello, I'm Michelle Dyer host of apartment #8 Dumbarton manor 20 Dumbarton Ave Kingston 10 St Andrew. It's situated 5 mins from Half Way Tree Square, 10 mins from New Kingston, 15 mins from Cross Roads and 25 mins from Down Town Kingston. All for your convenience especially the business traveler.
I was born in Jamaica, lived here my whole life. Traveled to other parts of the world but my heart is home in Jamaica. I live In the community of Irish Town in St Andrew. My family on both sides goes back for more than a 100 years. Irish Town is a 45 mins drive from Dumbarton Ave. I work in my community empowering the youths guiding them on how to make healthy choices, helping them to understand the importance of giving back in the homes, schools and communities. I was house mother and community supervisor to two Peace Corps volunteers, Mike Rohr from Kansas City and Emily Masi from Dana point California for two years each.
Jamaicans are creative and warm, I would like my guests to see and feel the magic of Jamaica through me.
My Favourite Cuisines
From Blane the 'Yatty Man' in Red Light District who makes the most heavenly yatties, ackee and broccoli, my favourite. Crystal Edge Restaurant home of the real Jamaican culture foods served in a warm atmosphere with friendly people. Cafe Blue, next door, where the coffee there smells and also tastes like love.
