Next to a detached house down a private drive set in 7 acres of land with river frontage & a ruined priory. The studio is comprised of an open plan kitchen & living area (& separate bathroom) with some very *STEEP STEPS* up to a sleeping platform. Beautiful cosy rustic atmospheric space with open fire & all facilities for a country break. No wifi but lots of woodland to explore and the riverside and ruin are accessible to visitors. Pub within walking distance (no food). Coast is a short drive.
This newly converted artists studio full of lovely works of art is located next to a house that is privately rented.
Parquet floor and Jotul woodburner (no central heating but free wood). Also to make sure guests are toasty there is also an oil filled radiator and gas heater ( please do not leave on at night). The studio is set apart from the house and has its own access and access to the 7 acres and ruin in the grounds as well as private riverfront access.. a very special peaceful and unique space. We now have a sofabed in place as well so if you want extra guests let us know this is possible for an additional fee. If you love a tranquil rural setting in a funky rustic though comfy space with lots of character this is for you.
The property has paths and walks you can access as well as the river and priory... Great for fishing, kayaking and dog walking. The local pub is a ten minute walk away.

Hi, we are Jenny and Chris.
We have lived in Pembrokeshire for over 25 years and both our boys were born here. Chris is originally from Australia and Jenny first came to Pembrokeshire during the summer holidays (in the 1970s) to visit her Grandparents who lived in the house next to the studio (New Briton) so is almost a local! Her Grandfather was a retired doctor who became a potter and her Step-Grandmother was an artist and illustrator. Chris works as a lecturer and Jenny is full time mum and part time student studying for a masters.
The studio is in the heart of our community, and many of our friends live near by so if you mention us to any locals you meet they will probably know us. We are dog lovers and have a kelpie called Cocoa.
We love to travel and so we may not be around when you are visiting but we will make sure that there is someone available to look after any questions you may have.
