We were so excited when we found this gem and are happy to now share it with you. It won't rival the sights of Manhattan, but it's a great oasis from the hustle and bustle of NYC.
We live on the first floor of a private home in a tranquil neighborhood. The apartment is roomy and very inviting, as evidenced in the photos. There is plenty of natural and artificial light. It's relatively new. There are no pest issues to worry about, which is unfortunately not a given in NYC.
Make yourself at home, except in our room, obviously. The kitchen, bathroom, and living/dining room are at your disposal. There's also cable TV, Apple TV, and PS4 with Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, NBA 2k16, NBA 2k17, Madden 16, Star Wars Battlefront, Rockband and The Last of Us for your entertainment needs. You'll need to purchase your own food and are welcome to use the toiletries designated for guest use. If you have any doubts or need something not designated for guest use, kindly ask first.

When I'm not traveling, I'm probably at the greatest museum in the Western Hemisphere, namely, the Metropolitan Museum of Art or showing people around the greatest city in the world! I've given nearly 700 tours at the MET over the last four years and am a licensed NYC sightseeing guide. I'd be happy to show you around and am qualified to do so. I can arrange a private tour of the MET for a supplemental fee, which includes admission and a visit to the exclusive Members' Lounge. I can do the same for anything else you'd like to do or see in the city, e.g., Broadway, Times Square, The Highline, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations, Wall Street, Central Park, and much more, anything to help make your visit to NYC the most memorable yet! When at home, Gabrielle and I like to refuel our batteries and introvert out. We're very friendly and polite (unfortunately not a given in NYC, either), but respect our guests' privacy.

Please note that there is no air conditioning. In three summers here, we've never needed it, as the space generally keeps cool. There are two ceiling fans and a large, portable one you're welcome to use.
The golden rule is a great one to abide by: treat others as you'd like to be treated. Unless you're a masochist. In that case, be respectful of us and the home we're sharing with you. This is not a hotel and we are working professionals with demanding schedules, so you are expected to clean up after yourself and your children, if applicable. Oh, and please keep the toilet seat and lid down! ;)
