Historic craftsman home walking distance from downtown, Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and Sierra Trading Post. Situated on a corner lot this home is quiet and comfortable. Perfect for a family vacation. Front porch has view of Heart Mountain, Pat O'Hara Mountain, and Rattlesnake Mountain. This 1,200 square foot house is located on one of the quietest streets in downtown. During the Independence Day celebration, parade entrants prep their horses and floats on this street (it's a little noisier those 2 days). You are one block from the City park which has many summer activities, including live concerts in the summer, mini golf, playground, and picnic tables. Tennis courts, jogging track, and football field are across the street on the high school campus and may be accessed by the general public.
If you have a medical emergency you are only two blocks from West Park Hospital.
You will have access to the entire living area of the house. The basement is excluded as it is not a living area.

Mammoth hot springs on the northwest side of the park is about 70 miles from the east entrance. There is also a route from Cody to the northeast entrance of the park. For guests who are staying several days, we suggest a day trip to Kirwin, a gold-mining ghost town. Local residents preserve the buildings and welcome tourists. It is a very remote location in the mountains so plan accordingly (food, water, fuel) and drive a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
An electronic entry code will be provided on the day you check-in. It will be deleted when you check out.
Check out is at 11:00 am. Please notify us when you depart. Please place your dishes in the dishwasher and start the cleaning cycle before you leave. We will take care of washing bedding and cleaning up on the day you check out. Terresa is a psychologist who manages statewide suicide prevention in WY. Steve is a marriage and family therapist who has retired early to ensure our 4 kids are getting the quality time with parents that kids need to do well. Terresa loves the beaches and Steve the mountains, so it's off to the beaches once Terresa retires. The whole family enjoys traveling, usually by car, so we can enjoy the family conversations, audiobooks, backseat battles, and having kids old enough to take over the driving. When we travel it is usually to seek out high adrenaline amusement parks. When we stay at home we enjoy our weekend getaways into the back country of Wyoming where we can enjoy campfires, stars, meteor showers, no electronic connection to the rest of the world, and sitting by a stream catching our dinner.
As hosts, we greatly enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. We love the back and forth communication with our guests as they plan their trip and delight in helping them tailor their plans in Yellowstone and the surrounding area. We always look forward to meeting our guests in person and ensuring they have a comfortable visit.
