Stay in a traditional "machiya"-style house in the center of Kyoto. Fully renovated for the modern lifestyle with a distinctly Kyoto touch! "Yui" house is situated at the end of a quiet alley of row houses, within walking distance of many great sites!
"Yui" House is quaint wooden townhouse, or machiya, which is a typical, traditional-style house in Kyoto. Many of these machiyas are disappearing, so take this chance to experience what it's like to live as a local. "Yui" House has two floors, with kitchen and dining spaces on the first floor and bedroom and living spaces on the second floor. Traditional tatami mats, which have a wonderful fragrance, line the floors. After a bath in a traditional deep-style tub, you'll have a comfortable night's sleep on Japanese futons!
You'll feel right at home with everything you need.
A full-suite of appliances and amenities are available, including a TV, washer/dryer, refrigerator, microwave oven, to make sure your stay is worry-free and comfortable.
