Vibrance, color, art, history, and so much more-this is what Rome is made of and I like to feel that as much on the inside as I do outside. Enter my piece of central peace, chock-full of modern convenience and flavor while keeping the air of the Eternal City alive through wood beam ceilings, hints of exposed brick, and views that beautifully blow history in along with the freshness of a third floor breeze.
Though above the street, no stairs wear out feet since a lift brings guests to my floor and door, where they’ll find an artsy accommodation in one of Rome’s most prime locations. With Campo de’ Fiori and the incomparably lovely Piazza Navona equidistant, it’s hard to know which way to head first. Does one “eyegasm” at the baroque beauty of Piazza Navona, the Bernini fountain, Fontana del Moro, or the myriad of cafe/dining options where you can grab a bite to eat and rest your feet? Does one head to the farmer’s market 6 mornings/week or the Campo nightlife scene? Both are less than 10 minutes from my door and offer so much to explore. Marvel at the nearby Pantheon, stroll to the Spanish Steps or St. Peter’s, or tarry at the Trevi Fountain while you secure your Roman return by tossing your coins in-this area offers so much that even locals need multiple lifetimes to discover what’s taken centuries to evolve. Compact and convenient, this location is as much a walker’s wonder as it is accessible to public transit so the Eternal City can be explored any way YOU feel comfortable.
Speaking of comfort, I couldn’t live without it, so neither shall you while you call my home yours! 2 double bedrooms and a double sofa bed easily accommodate up to 6 guests, with 2 bathrooms to make sure everyone’s needs are met, and that doesn’t just mean 2 toilets. 1 has a shower, the other is my realm of relaxation with its jacuzzi tub-a perfect way to start or end a busy day exploring; or if you’re indecisive, spend siesta time with a soothing soak. A/C, internet, a washer, TV, and a fully equipped kitchen make sure you have all the comforts of home while in Rome and lack for nothing.
Some places are simplistic, minimalistic, monochromatic, but this is not my flavor; I prefer to infuse my living space with the mixed spice of Eternal city life throughout the centuries. Under a characteristic wood beam ceiling I like to house a carefully crafted and selected hodgepodge of art and color; a mix of colors as diverse as the architecture inhabiting my neighborhood and those surrounding it. Friendly, funky, bohemian, yet smooth, my aim is to soothe and get you in the travel groove.
Near as you are to the amazing ruins at the supposed site of Julius Caesar’s death (another can’t miss-spot), my apartment invites you too to say "Veni, vidi, vici!”
