Unwind in an artsy 3 BR 200-years old newly remodeled 3-floor townhouse right in the old Tbilisi 5 min walk from metro and the famous Dry Bridge flea-market. The typical Tbilisi "Italian yard", bohemian design and roof terrace with roses add up to the unique experience.
You are renting a unique family townhouse in the heart of the historical part of Tbilisi. It was built 200 years ago by a German merchant who moved to Tbilisi to check out the new market. Originally it was a one-story thick-walls-high-ceiling building with a huge storage basement made of hand-made Georgian bricks. 15-years ago the second floor was added to the original house, and then 2 years ago the two-level roof terrace. The house is more than 200 sq m, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen with dining area and two-level roof terrace with small kitchenette and an amazing view of old Tbilisi. Each room has its own unique design: kitchen is vintage-Georgian with antique furniture; one bedroom is Soviet-era style filled with 30s-50s Soviet memorabilia; another bedroom is Oriental with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with gas/electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker and includes key necessities like coffee, tea, oil, etc. There are a big screen TV, DVD-player, washing machine, hair dryer, iron with ironing board. You will also have Wi-Fi, tons of books and board games. Terrace has a kitchenette with a small fridge and a grill. The townhouse shares the so-called "Italian yard" with two other houses, which adds the charm to your experience of "real" Tbilisi. The 200-years old vaulted-ceiling basement of the building now houses the "Yoga Cave" studio, which offers everyday yoga classes also in English and Russian.
The guests will have the access to the whole house. There are two bedrooms on the first floor with high ceilings and unique design. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, another one has a single bed and a sofa bed. There is a big kitchen with the dining area and a bathroom with big bathtub on the first floor. On the second floor there is the third bedroom with double bed and big closet and a small bathroom with shower cabin. One room with personal stuff is locked. The roof-terrace has two-levels, closed space with kitchenette, and open spaces with dining area with the table and 6 chairs, sitting area with the couch and arm-chairs, flower pots with roses, cherry and apple trees. On the second level there are two lounge chairs and the magnificent view over Tbilisi. This is not an airbnb-dedicated house, it's a family house, so please be considered. The house shares the yard with two more houses where three other typical Georgian families live. The neighbors are nice and friendly. It is very atmospheric and you will get a kick out of it.

Check in is flexible. I have a lockbox at the entrance door and if you arrive at the early/late hours, you can get the keys from the lockbox and enter yourself. Check out is 11 am. I can arrange an airport pick up with a 7-seater car, it is $20.
Please note there are sometimes electricity, gas and water cuts in Tbilisi. They are not often, but might happen. They are usually unannounced and rarely longer than a couple of hours. I will definitely warn you if I know of either, but I can not reimburse you for any inconveniences.
Smoking is only on the terrace or outside. No parties. Hang onto those keys (15 euro replacement). I travel a lot and I own quite a collection of stuff from different countries. It is very important that you be careful with such belongings. If you break something, let me know immediately so that we can arrange a replacement or reimbursement. Please switch off all electrical appliances including the air conditioner before you leave the house. Please dispose of your trash before you leave. Thank you so much!
