Our house has wooden floors throughout with large spacious rooms upstairs, including a double en-suite , large double room , small double room and a room with two single beds. Main bathroom upstairs with bath and bathroom and shower downstairs . Large sitting room with large TV with SKY and SKY Sports . Kitchen and Dinning room are combined and feature granite worktops. The kitchen is finished to a very high standard with a Gas hob, electric oven and large larders with all the dry ingredients free to use and a large fridge with some milk and butter to help with settling in , also some tea and coffee . A spacious garden outside features a paved patio area with seating and landscaped gardens. The drive at the front of the house has parking for two cars .
Gort has three large supermarkets all within walking distance to stock up on groceries and a large playground to amuse younger children.
Our house is 300 mtrs from the main roundabout that connects the N18 and M18 which links all the major attractions in Co Clare and Co Galway.
Shannon airport is 30 mins away . Local attractions include Coole Park,one of the regions best known parks , home once to Lady Gregory,who hosted most of Ireland's great poets and writers in her home. Check out the "autograph tree" and see how many names you recognize. Thoor Ballylee where Yeats spent his summers is also a short drive away. The Burren National Park is just a 15 minute drive and can be seen from the house with its beautiful walks and outstanding Geology and famous Poulnabrone Dolmen (Portal Tomb) between 4200BC and 2900BC. While in The Burren,The magnificent Aillwee Caves with a length of over a thousand meters and home to Ireland's last bears is a must visit.
Golfers have a choice of over 30 courses within one hours drive of the house including the world famous links at Lahinch and Doonbeg.
The beautiful village of Kinvara is 15 minutes away where traditional Irish music can be heard in its many fine pubs each evening.
Fr Ted fans can explore where all the episodes of the cult series were shot in Co Clare including a drive to Fr Teds house which is 20 mins away .
A trip to the Aran Islands is less than one hour away with a drive to Doolin passing the world famous Cliffs of Moher on the way .
Galway City is 30 mins away on the N18 which has long been known as "The cultural heart of Ireland " with its many festivals and celebrations and has been listed as one of the top tourist destinations in the world .
As our home as top quality timber floors ,we would ask all our guests to leave shoes in the hall where a large selection of slippers is provided. All rooms in the house are available to our guests except the small side room .

It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with many elderly people retired here . We are 16 years living here and do not want to upset any of our neighbors and that is the way we want to keep it.
No party's ,smoking or loud music . No pets . Please leave the house as you found it as cleaners are expensive.
