My husband and I always wanted to own a house by the water. We have done alot of travelling, staying in timeshares, hotels, or rented houses. When we rented houses, we often found there were either too many supplies (and no place to keep our private things) or too little (and we'd have to go out and buy them.) When we decided to rent our cottage for vacationers, we wanted to have just the right amount of amenities -- enough so our guests wouldn't have to go out and buy anything and/or wouldn't have to wonder where to store their private items. We wanted a place that was comfortable and felt like home - but better.
When we saw this cottage, we immediately fell in love with it. I guess the first thing I loved was the kitchen, wide open, bright and sunny. Well-equipped too. Then, of course, is the sitting are in the front area where it is bright and sunny and I can watch the tides come in and out -- it is so relaxing. Finally, the house is on the mainland side of the Cape, therefore, we can choose when to go over the bridge (when there's no traffic), and easily access the mainland attractions, or stay on "our" side of the bridge and go to the many attractions here.
