The house is small but laid out well for a group or family who wants to spend most of their time enjoying what the Cape has to offer. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and one with a double. The kitchen has been recently renovated and comes fully equipped with a radiant stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, dishes and utensils. The bathroom has been recently remodeled, as well. There is an enclosed, hot-water, outside shower off the back deck, and a small, private backyard with a hammock for relaxing after a long day at the beach.
A washer and dryer are in the basement. The heat is gas and forced hot water, and the stove is electric. The fireplace has not been maintained and is not currently usable.
Towels and bedding are provided by guests. Linen rental can be arranged by several services on the Cape. A search for “brewster ma linen rentals” brings up several options.
The house is centrally located, convenient to both the bay and ocean beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is less than two miles away, as is Nickerson State Park. Brewster has great lakes, gentle bay beaches that are perfect for families with small children, and fantastic restaurants, including the four-star French restaurant, Chillingsworth. Right down the street is the renowned Captain's Golf Course.

We are three siblings—now grown, married, and living around the country—who inherited our grandmother's house on the Cape. We are doctors, teachers, and professionals, and we have been vacationing in this house for 40 years. Our combined six children are now building memories in this spot that is precious to us. When not vacationing on the Cape, we love skiing, hiking, camping, traveling, and eating good food. We welcome you to our home!
