Unique, artistic, authentic, and above all charming! Right in the center of Turnhout, and yet at walking and cycling distance from the Kempen nature reserves located outside of town, a quirky and artisanally renovated cottage offers its visitors a warm welcome. In winter, the wood burning stove creates extra ambiance. The Unicorne is a B&B in the true sense of the word, where you as guest share all the facilities of the house with the hostess. Your dog is welcome here too!
The cottage has several rooms, but they will never be rented out simultaneously to people who don't know each other. If you come alone, you can rent the room with the single bed. This room can also be used by people who like to share a room but not the bed. In that case, two single beds will be provided.
A couple, with or without children, can make use of the room with the double bed and mezzanine/raised sleeping area, which can accommodate 2 extra persons.
If you wish, you can also rent the entire house. Then there is room for 6 people: 2 persons on the mezzanine, 2 persons in the double bed, and 2 persons in the bedroom with two single beds.
The entire house is at your disposal, with the exception of the room where I sleep myself during your stay. On the first floor you can make use of the television room and the office corner. It's possible to use the kitchen if you'd like to cook for yourself, but please discuss this with me in advance. My house has a charming city garden where you can have breakfast on the covered patio, or read a book in the comfortable loungers.
There is free WiFi available.

During your stay, you can always consult me about any questions or concerns you may have. Breakfast is included in the price, unless agreed otherwise. Any other meal can also be provided, if agreed upon in advance.
If you rent the whole house, I will not be present, but I'm always reachable by phone!
For newlyweds who want to spend their night in The Unicorne after their party, there will be a small gift!
Другие важные подробности
My house has an open structure - only the bedrooms and the downstairs toilet have doors - and the living areas are spread over several floors, so there’s no getting around climbing stairs.
My house is open to people who love peace and quiet. Well-behaved pets are also welcome. I myself have a sweet dog. Smoking is not permitted.
