Near downtown Goshen, bike paths, millrace, brew pubs, several nice restaurants, coffee shop, and music venue. There are two upstairs private bedrooms so the bathroom will be shared if both rooms are rented. This room has a queen size bed. On street parking only.
We are an easy going couple in our late 50s (well, I just turned 60), love to travel to out of way places, biking for pleasure and also long distances. I (Myron) rode 2/3rds of The Continental Divide (1600= miles), together we rode from Pittsburg to DC. Great times. We also rode around Lake Michigan in the summer of 2017. It was an awesome trip of more than 1000 miles. We have been married 40 years, have two sons, both married, and have 6 grandkids. We love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit many places around the world. We have a simple house, but then we are simple people. Goshen is a small city but if you want to hang out at some really cool places, check out the following places: (all within 6 blocks of our home).
The Electric Brew (coffee house and roastery)
Venturi Pizza (certified neopolitan pizza)
Goshen Brewing Company
A Constant Spring (slightly upscale bar and restaurant)
Gateway Winery and Back Alley Brewery
Maple City Indian Cuisine
If you like biking we are right on a biking trail which will take through Amish Country to Shipshewana (20 miles), or Elkhart (10 miles).
We didn't join AirbBNB because we wanted to make money on our space, but because we believe Goshen is a pretty special place to visit and to live. We might be a bit biased, but then again, we might be right. After all we were recently designated as the 2nd happiest city in Indiana. That might not mean much to you, but it just made us a bit happier. We will be happy to point you in the right directions and are sure you will enjoy our great community. Oh, and sorry, but we have a "no pet" policy.
