Hey everybody! Since December 2015, we call two lovely cities our home: Duesseldorf and Copenhagen! Because I work in Copenhagen in Marketing for a cosmetic company and my husband is still based in Germany, we travel back and forth between those two cities. Not being able to be in both at the same time (of course :)), we would like to give you the opportunity to explore wonderful Copenhagen while staying in our cozy apartment right beside the water front in Sydhavnen.
I love living in Copenhagen with all its great interior design stores as visiting these is definitely one of my favorite things I do in my free time :) besides that there is nothing better than taking a run through the city (or Duesseldorf) which I do as much as I can - my husband is a little crazier and does like two marathons per year :) always one in Berlin, as this is his city of origin. Whenever I find time I check out open dancing classes as I used to do a lot of dancing both ballet and modern - still keeping in touch with my ballet school in my hometown (little town in the very North of Germany close to Jever - if you know that city because of its beer brewery) where I used to teach both children and grown-ups and do at least one choreography for the evening show every two years - dancing really is a passion and I am lucky that I have a husband who loves to go out and dance with me. As we both love to see the world, with me having studied in Sydney and my husband in Japan and Brazil, we like to share our home with people who share this passion with us. When we travel we explore the cities always by foot - we simple love to stroll and get lost as we believe this is the best way to get the real feeling of the city even if this means that you do not see everything or even miss the most interesting things according to others.
Our next journey will probably take us to Thailand - it might sound strange but we have not been there yet (and I know almost all our friends have already been there at least once...). During one of our last bigger trips through Brazil we both have fallen in love with our kindles - so comfy!! And I have fallen in love with Jojo Moyes books the same time - a bit cheesy maybe for some of you but I love how intimate and romantic she writes - if you do not know her and you love reading novels check her out!
We follow two sayings: "Do it with passion or not at all" (this was the statement of the 2015 marathon in Berlin) and "Dream it. Believe it. Achieve it."
