Sunny light-filled home in East Oakland Hills. Comfortable and private room with queen sized bed, small desk, closet, access to full bathroom (shared with other guests). This listing is ideal for people spending time in East Bay or with flexible schedules for visiting SF. Guests spending most of their time in SF may find the commute challenging. You absolutely need a car here or you can rely on Uber/Lyft. 10 min drive to Coliseum BART. Street parking in front of house. Must be comfy with dogs!
Most importantly, this space requires dog-friendly guests. You can see more about my dog @hendrixthepitmix on Instagram. Hendrix is super friendly, rarely barks, but at times will follow you around demanding your attention. He's home while I'm at work/school, so I need guests who are comfortable with interacting with him.
I have two guest rooms that share a full bathroom. Each room has a queen size bed and a closet. This room has a window for natural light. You'll have access to wifi, a full kitchen, and you're welcome to sit outside on the backyard patio.
This listing is for the smaller of the two guest rooms. Please see the other listing here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6870950.
You're welcome to use the kitchen or hang out on the patio. We can make room in the refrigerator for your needs as well. You'll have access to a full bathroom which will be shared when both guest rooms are in use.
Please be respectful of my space and privacy. No visitors.

I do my best to keep Hendrix out of the guest rooms. Please confirm in your booking request that you understand and accept there is a dog on the property.
Please be respectful of my space and privacy, and please -- no visitors.
As this is my home and I live and work here, please be courteous about noise level and please clean up after yourself.
FYI this is a pot-friendly household, if you're uncomfortable with that, this may not be the listing for you.
I have lived, worked, and traveled all over the world and settled in the Bay Area in 2015.
My passions are food, travel, and photography. I love to read, and occasionally I write. Mostly, I enjoy long walks & slow jogs with my dog. Home is a calm respite from how busy and stressful life can get.
