Private master bedroom and full bath. This is a family home in a quiet neighborhood just off the scenic Blue Ridge parkway between Grandfather Mountain and Julian Price Memorial Park. We are located 10 minutes from Blowing Rock and 15 minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain. The Blue Ridge Parkway is popular with hikers and bikers alike, especially during leaf season.
We are minutes from from Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain State Park, Julian Price Memorial Park, and Moses Cone Memorial Park. We live in the home, and are knowledgeable about the area. We welcome conversation and interaction. All of the family rooms are upstairs, so you will have the downstairs den / kitchen / dining area pretty much to yourself. There is a piano and guitar if you like to make music, and a pleasant, half-mile loop around the neighborhood for walking.
In addition to the master bedroom and full private bath, guests have access to the first-floor kitchen/dining area, a pantry with washer and dryer, a roomy den with a piano and guitar, a summer patio with table and wooden porch swing, and a spacious yard.
The bedroom is 10" X 13", and has a king sized bed. The mattress is a Stearns & Foster, and it is fairly soft (not firm). There is a flat-screen television in the guest bedroom, connected to Netflix, Amazon Prime video, and many free Roku channels. We have a good wireless internet connection (60 Mbps), and the guest bedroom includes a small table and chair for some work space.
The bedroom also has a closet for clothes and suitcases, and chair and small table, and a set of book shelves.

Другие важные подробности
Tweetsie Railroad is a local, wild west theme park. Grandfather Mountain, Julian Price, and Moses Cone parks are connected by the Mountains to the Sea trail. Julian Price has camping, a lake with boat access, picnicking along the Boone Fork Creek, and hiking trails. Moses Cone has a restored 19th century manor house with an art gallery, a lake, and miles of scenic hiking and carriage trails. As in most homes in the area, there is no AC, but the average July high is only 72 degrees.
We are a quiet family with three well-behaved children. We do not allow smoking on the property. Guests and pets are allowed, if they are trained and well-behaved. :)
